the Livi goal looked angry - something he might need to tap into - almost frustration for the chance he missed at home to shak. I think Kyogo needs to learn about his inner self and use that frustration to hit the back of the net - griffiths always had an angry shot on his day. In terms of control of the ball etc kyogo is better than Gia, gia needs to improve a cleaner crisp first touch, do less wee flicks and back heels which rarely come off and stop giving away silly free kicks he plays with jazz hands fs... kyogo needs to just be more ruthless and sometimes get angry - 3 wins outta 3 before the break is the key target and kill the games off - that saint j game the other week wasnt easy viewing when they scored.

Kyogo has a powerful shot off his left foot which he has shown against motherwell in the cup with his shot from distance off the bar and another recently where he took a touch and hit a stinging shot across the keeper which was saved.

I cant believe how much people still underrate Kyogo and his finishing and all round play. He is two footed, asisst, scores all types of goals.
If he plays as many games as any other striker in the league, he finishes top scorer. Theres nobody close in my opinion.

I really rate Giakoumakis. He is doing well and has shown a brilliant attitude when called upon. Competition is a great thing and will only spur them both on.

he misses a few guilt edge ones too - in a team like celtic you will get 3/4 good chances in a game - they need to be converted to kill games which is out biggest problem.

In terms of instinct in the box - GG offers more which is why most of his goals are one touch finishes, he is also more a threat in the air - it is good to have two different strikers.

Would it every be bizarre to try kyogo coming in from the right or left helping feed GG in the middle? I thought he could play anywhere across the top?

As long as they both still chip in with goals and get 3 win before the break no one will have any real issues.

In CL it was pretty easily summed up - a win away from home against shak which should have happened with guilt edge misses, and at home a win also which should have happened with the chances we missed

6 points would have seen us into europa after christmas which I think all fans would have been delighted with and see what surprises it may have threw up.

Kyogo in europe didn't do anything up against quicker, stronger and more tactically aware players

Lots of strikers do. But he hits the target a lot and forces good saves from the keepers. His movement and intelligence will see him create more chances for himself and others too.

with regard to first touch goal, Kyogo has plenty of these. You would need to back this up with statistics. I dont disagree that GG is more powerful.

I think both are good enough to lead the line, but would be interesting to see Ange experiment in a game where the games all but wrapped up and put them both up top. Im sure they would compliment each other well.

Kyogo did have chances in games, he did force decent saves out of keepers in nearly all the games he played, including courtois. I definitely wouldnt say he struggled.

I am agreeing with just about everything you are saying.
I do think JJ will be gone in January too, because as you say his body language is all wrong.
And I am sure he had a smirk on his face when he chested that ball into his own net
at Parkhead. I still can't believe his attitude there.
And I actually think we need two tough, strong, physical midfield powerhouses.
If you look back in football heritage, all the great teams of the past had two midfield enforcers
    in their teams.
Even Broony found it very hard trying to hold the line himself, exceptional player he was,
and when he was paired with either Barry Robson or Paul Hartley in midfield, his job
    became infinitely easier.

He was deliberately laughing at scoring an own goal?

I can't remember his face but maybe it was out of embarrassment if he did..

It was just an observation. But he definitely had a smirk on his face. Like an arrogant smirk.
Check it out yourself if you don't believe me.

I remember years ago cha du ri scoring an og and there were fans adamant he was smiling so he did it on purpose, when it was obviously a laugh or you'll cry ridiculous moment at how bad it was.

Seen it. It was JJ coming to terms with the fact he had a big diddy moment. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have no issue with either Kyogo or GG starting up front but at the minute I think the big Greek is the more likely scorer for us and seems more confident

I think it's simply a manager supporting his players.

He's not going to say "I think it's better if they don't go to the WC cos it's better for Celtic", is he? He wants to show the players he wants them to achieve as much as possible.

Excellent cameo, not only the goal but he earned the corner from which he scored. Big players come up with big moments.

The rumors of Kyogo being in crisis have been well and truly exaggerated.

Off he goes towards 20 league goals.:Kyogo:
