Think we’ll see him sitting in behind GG at times this season when they are both in the side.

He’s better as a creative central attacker than he is out wide where his best attributes are stifled.

Had the best pass of the game. What a turn to put jota through. So fast at thinking, he's going to cause massive problems for teams in Europe because they leave us so much more space. * love him.

Scored one. One off the bar. And played the ball of the match. Think the midfielders aren't giving him the service his runs deserve.

Cracking player, amazing that we have two forwards who know how to find the net.

Definitely should've had an assist or an involvement for that quality ball to Jota that he hit straight at the keeper. Actually felt Jota shoulda squared it to Maeda for a tap in but need to see it again..

Still no as involved as I want overall but can't argue today. One chance and puts it away..

It's a weird one, I actually feel like Giakoumakis has been involved a lot more than Kyogo recently, you see the big man chasing after loose balls, involved in the build up play, where-as Kyogo is doing the opposite.

Still scored two in the last 2 games, so can't really complain.

Still not at his best yet, but he’s still broke the deadlock in both away games now.

That bit of play where he dropped deep and played a worldly pass for Jota is what he needs to get back to doing more of.

Would imagine he’ll start again against Hearts, then maybe give Giako the start at Tannadice.

Undroppable. He's not scored a worldly yet. But he's not far off it. It's coming.

Pay it again Kyogo. Giakomakis is breathing down your neck. Hail hail.

Surprised there are those doubting him. His movement is second to none in Scotland.
He will continue to score goals as long as he keeps getting the service. Very intelligent player.

Kyogo Furuhashi scores first goal as Celtic routs Kilmarnock

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND – Celtic moved back ahead of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference with a 5-0 thrashing of Kilmarnock on Sunday as both Moritz Jenz and Giorgos Giakoumakis scored on overhead kicks.

Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota and Carl Starfelt were also on target in a dominant display from Ange Postecoglou’s champions to maintain a perfect start after three games.

The Hoops needed two late goals to see off Ross County last weekend, but got off to a flying start when Furuhashi turned in Daizen Maeda’s cross after just seven minutes.

Celtic did not let the plastic pitch or the baking temperatures slow it down, as Jota’s blistering strike into the top corner and Jenz’s second goal in as many games for the club killed put the club in total control by the half.

“We knew that (the pitch) was one of our challenges today, along with it being a hot day to try and play the football we want to,” said Postecoglou.

“The boys’ attitude was first rate.

“It was a great start for us. Last week we scored late and we said we want to wear teams down. That doesn’t discount the fact we want to start strong and put teams away early.”

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes had spoken before the game about his determination to make life as difficult as possible for the champions.

But the former Aberdeen boss was disappointed by his side’s defending.

Starfelt was given two chances at a gaping goal to open his Celtic account in his 50th appearance for the club.

“We’re not ready to take on Celtic yet, but we are better than what we showed today, certainly with our defending,” McInnes said.

Agree, Turbull and O'Riley both need to raise their game to support our strikers. It's something Rogic was very good at last season and is missing so far. Think Hatate coming back from injury will help out Kyogo a lot.

Aye, would be harsh to drop him when he's scoring and building on his form.
