What a load of *. I don't remember tweets being written in Australian when Ange arrived.

I demand at least one Australian commentator as cultural compensation for lack of Australianism when Ange arrived.

    This one should do it.

Any popular songs in Scotland that involve the words "old bridge"? That is what Furuhashi means.

How far through the J league season are they, hopefully not far? Just concerned he’s played a lot this season already and about to embark on a lengthy season for us.

Ange Postecoglou has admitted his frustrations over the wait to see Kyogo Furuhashi in a Celtic shirt.

The J-League top scorer said his goodbyes to Vissel Kobe yesterday but the £4.5million star signing will not be in Glasgow for at least another week due to a combination of medical checks, a work permit and a period of quarantine.

The Hoops boss will attempt to navigate Tuesday night’s second-round first-leg Champions League qualifier against Midtjylland without the attacking spark of the 26-year-old and Postecoglou insists it’s a far from ideal scenario as he looks to bolster his squad.

He said: “It’s not just about signing players, it’s how we can get them in.

“It’s a ten-day to two-week process so that’s the challenging part at the moment, we’re not able to get people in quick enough.

It’s just the world we live in. If we could get on a plane, go over there and do the signing.

We’d all be taking photos and we’d be unveiling him here today. Unfortunately nothing like that happens any more.

Never seen or heard of this guy until our interest in him appeared.

Took the opportunity to watch the game this morning and see what you could make from the guy. Initial impressions are positive, worked well in tandem with the other forward Douglas. Capable of dropping short and picking up the ball. Good touch and comfortable with being pressured on the ball. Technically looks good. Good movement and knows the areas to attack. Mixed up his game by making the runs in behind and stretching the game. Shown good short bursts of pace throughout the 80mins he played. Also had one longer which he closed a good 15-yard gap on the centre chasing for possession.

The game as a whole was played in a very pedestrian manner, which could be put down to the weather conditions. However, the manner of Scottish Football is completely different. He will be a target for the hammer throwers of SPFL football.

Will be interesting to see him settle and adapt to our game. His showing was positive and we will have something to work with. He'll need time, but ideally we could do with him being an instant hit.
