Was that Kwon or Iwata that played that lovely ball over the top to Haksa? I know he can ping them long if he has to but that was a belter lol

So I’ve spent all pre-season shouting bout can’t read much into friendlies because results and performances aren’t really the point of them.

He had a good turn of pace as well to catch that guy who had a couple yard head start on him, caught him no bother and over only about 15-20 yards, didn't even need to slide tackle him could have just brushed him aside and took the ball with his momentum.

I said fairly mobile in his highlight reel but he definitely looks mobile..

Liked what I saw the other day. He'll deffo fit in well with his aggression..

Aye, I thought that in the clips as well he looked quick but you aren't sure what to make of it since we don't know the level or really anything about that League.

Even though his style of play looks more like the technical and classy big holding midfielder style of Busquets and Rodri where he can turn on a ball and knock it about and has nice control and vision he physically and defensively seems to play more like Wanyama or big physical midfielders who are strong and quick.

First time seeing him as I missed the wolves game.

Can't write someone off after 45 mins but I think it's obvious he is a project and will need time.

It's why money needs spent on that position. It's a problem area for us and as I said when he was linked I really don't think he will instantly solve it.

To put it on a guy with about 1 full season in the Korean top division would be peak celtic.

Felt sorry for him, which is never a good sign. Made a few mistakes in a row early doors and his head just went.

Anybody can have a horror 45 minutes like that, even a hugely experienced international in Mooy had a nightmare against Sevco last season. So definitely can't write him off.

Having said that, he did look like somebody who had won a competition at times :giggle1:

Don’t expect him to start at the weekend or be in the side for a while.

Kwon genuinely looked like a competition winner today. He's very much a project and for Europe we should be avidly hunting the market for another midfielder.

Struggled but incredibly early days against a very good side. Ease him in and see how he goes.

    He'll get there..

Will take a bit of time to adjust to our style and the pace of the game in europe.

Will hopefully quickly learn that he doesn't get as much time on the ball as he's been used to.

Still think there's a player there mite just take a bit longer till we see it

First time I’ve seen him, unimpressed.

Was supposedly decent against Wolves I’ll take folks words for that. Definitely mid to long term prospect on him from what you can see thus far.

Definitely better to come, as everyone has said he had a poor 1st half like every other player bar CCV.
Won't be a regular 1st teamer so time for him to settle and get used to the game up here.
