    It's just common sense..

I remember Efe doing it at Celtic Park last minute against the diets and got a standing ovation because he stopped us dropping points..

    That was ridiculous today..

Silly red card, fell asleep at the end of the game and in desperation, pulled the boy back and made it easy for the player to go down and the ref to call it fairly.

In the grand scheme, he’s still fairly green as a centre half and still a young player. Also, considering he was out cold early game he may very well not have been 100% most of that game.

Still, took a sore one, played on and had a fairly solid game in a more testing environment. His reaction told the story, he won’t need to be addressed for his mistake, he strikes me as the type that will be tough enough on himself - heart on sleeve and a commendable effort overall.

I know it was. Efe Ambrose was an experienced International defender. Kris Ajer is a 20 year old young boy that needs to learn not to just react in the moment with stuff like that and think through the ramifications with those split second decisions. Make sure he learns from it, that’s what we need to make sure he does.

    Stupid, silly, learn from it.

It never led to a goal, we were 2 up etc, so he can get away with it and learn from it. He'll kick himself more than we could slate him.

It was a moment of complecency where he switched off, but in relative terms this is rare and it didnt cost us today, although the impact of his suspension remains to be seen.

The mistake aside, as with Jozo, i felt that he dealt with everything thrown at him and won everything in the air.

Gets an easier time from us because of his age. Still miles to go for the big man, needs to fill out a bit n cut the nonsense.

This, he knew straight away he * up but he's been brilliant since he came back in and still learning. Actually think it'll prove to be the right decision as well, keeps our run of clean sheets going and with 2 home games coming up Bitton should be able to slot in without too much hassle.

He's 20. And has only gone into that position in the past 2 years. Not going to hold it against him.

There’s no time to think of the ramifications in that split second, natural instinct would take over and 9/10 would pull the player back imo.

The positive thing is that the error happened when we were 2-0 up and didn’t cost us points.

It’s the first time he’s really messed up to that extent. I’m sure he’ll learn from it and be better for it.

I think the guy is desperately unlucky to be dropped given the amount of clean sheets he has had and the part he has played in our upturn in form.

I think he has more to his all round game than Boyata and I feel that Rodgers should have shown a bit more loyalty to him.

I know he didn't play tonight so this might seem random, but imagine if he had a competent center half next to him everytime he played? Instead he gets stuck with either Simunovic or Hendry, both whom are *, or Boyata who is a shitebag and nowhere near a leader figure. The minute we strike gold with a CB Ajer will stroll it, needs a leader beside him (Has he played alongside Benkovic yet? I honestly can't remember)
