Exactly that mate. When he came back in just about the time our defence was struggling this season he helped to shore things up and he began to accumulate clean sheets for us.
Just been unlucky being disrupted with injuries and the fractured cheek bone was a sore one to come back from.

Its a shame Benkovic isnt ours because that could be a european quality pairing going forward.

Solid, reading the play well, composed and a serious attacking threat marauding from deep. First rate attitude is impressive.

I have a feeling he’ll become irreplaceable over the next 2 seasons!

A rise akin to Calmac for this lad!

No quite there yet for me. Playing like it tonight but need to see it more consistently and in more testing games than what this lot are showing tonight.

I have faith in the big Nordic whale slugger!

Hard to not agree with any of that imho....mate said to me he reminds him of Hanson in the day when he sets off forward with the ball.

Have said it so many times, in this thread and in RL... so much of Roy Aitken about Ajer. :50:

2 nil up, in injury time and he makes a mistake but let it go. If they manage to run 20 yard's and slot it then ok we're still winning..

What does he do. Knows we've got no defender's and pulls his man down knowing it's an obvious red..

What kind of dumbfuckery is that?

I'd be going mental at him in the dressing room..

Can this be appealed to at least maybe have him for the next game?

It’d most likely get extended if we did so. It’s a blatant red.

Genuinely one of the most ridiculous pieces of defending you’ll see.

The players and the manager should be going through him for that.

    * baffling from him.

Stupid mistake but he was good the whole game and he helped Bain have another clean sheet. Worth the red alone

I tend to let younger guys away with it. Just make sure he knows it was daft, has an absolute desire to keep clean sheets, don’t let the end be a nervy one when we’re down to 10, knows he’s * up already

Learn from it. People tend to forget he’s 20 years old.

The thing I liked about that was how disgusted with himself he was walking off. I really like him and his runs from the back are brilliant. I'm letting him off with that one.

Exactly he will learn from this, with his style of playing out from the back then things like this will happen. I’m more concerned with him getting too tight to players and letting them turn him, but overall he’s a converted midfielder thats turning into a very accomplished CB.
