Not a chance I'd sell him, When he hits form he's the first name on the team sheet.

    Stick the 4 million

Granted he hasn't had a good start this season but who has.
To sell our only or one of our only goal threats is stupid beyond belief,if you want
the money then you don't want to see half decent football. Don't think for a second
that any money brought in will be used to improve our team..it won't since our current
'policy' seems to be working wonders for us. So if he plays less then so be it as he would be
perfect to bring on late in games and to give experience to youngsters. We can't have a team
full of kids with no old heads to keep them in check.

Lets replace his goals first and then think about selling....we keep selling and not replacing and its * us.

Did we expect Commons to be the one who scored all the goals when Hooper left? Someone will step up and score the goals.

Commons was already scoring lots of goals when Hooper was here.

No way we should sell unless we have someone of equal ore better quality to come in. No sense selling our best players now, the team is weak enough already.

We'll win the spl without him and I have faith we'd reinvest the money into someone who can cut it regularly in Europe.

A time will come when he moves on. I'd take the £4m now.

We just sold a player and re-invested that money with a loan.

I highly doubt any sort of re-investment.

Excellent again today. There is no point in selling him.

So sell what we thought was one of Celtics best keepers in recent times and now sell a man who scored 32 goals last year and assisted 14 I think- yip that makes sense. Why not sell lustig, van dijk and brown too. They misplaced a few passes last year.

Excellent for us in domestic football but I'm often left watching him in Europe and thinking he's not cut our for our style if play there. Lacks pace at that level.

£4m for a player who is almost 31 is very good money for us. I would sell and look to bring in another striker.

Yes, he was already the 2nd top goalscorer the season Hooper left. Everyone fully expected him to continue that, just as we expect him to continue scoring this season.

Don't think everyone did. I thought he would be up there but not finish top goal scorer.

Most people I knew just expected him to carry on where he'd left off. Nobody was predicting he would go ahead and score more than Hooper ever did in the one season but everyone was expecting him to continue scoring and have a good record for us.
