Time to say Goodbye. Either he takes the 1 yr on offer, or we punt him for some money and reinvest, in a younger player.

I want him to stay and get a game in. He's a huge player for us. But the reality is that he will likely be shipped off to Bolton or something.

Shameful that he is on the bench when we are crying out for a creative player off the front.

If he is allowed to walk it's a complete disgrace, it really is.

    Stokes obviously, or Johansen
He's a nice lad and did brilliantly last season. He's far too limited for an important role in our starting eleven. His age and decreasing pace will not help him. Would take a couple of million for him as I think that'd be an excellent deal, there's no place for him here.

I would much rather keep him and use him as back up if guidetti or johansen get injured. And then eventually lead him into a coaching job when he retires.

I would like to see him stay but wouldn't be too fussed if he was to go either. The way we are wanting to go cleary doesn't fit in. Not only that though when he has been on the pitch there seems to be a real togetherness on the pitch any time a bad tackle goes in or we score the whole team seems to show real passion and togetherness as if they all have each others backs! The only player that doesn't seem to this year is Commons his attitude on the he pitch just doesn't seem right. Ofcorse not getting played will effect him, but in all honesty I think he made his mind up at the start of the season.

Great player. However Johansen has just went above and beyond this season and is now made the KC role well and truly his own. Would be a shame to see him leave, but i wouldn't be to fussed if he did go.

Johansson has excelled in his position and he also plays how Ronny wants for example he will chase every ball get in wide area's and even go back and help he presses really well and that's what Ronny has us doing pressing and roaming I don't think Commons has fitted into this system one bit and as much I loved Commons for his fantastic effort last year I wouldn't be sad to see him go I would happily take 2-4 Mil on him now rather than losing him for buttons in a year or two's time he simply doesn't do enough pressing or running about stands about far to often and when the ball is given to him his first thought is to shoot and its just not fitting to how we play at the moment.

Hope he signs an extension. He's still a valuable player.

Ronny want's a team where the 10 outfield players defend. Look at Stokes for example, on the left wing tracking back to help Izzy. I think Ronny has done this mainly to get Stokes fitter. We have Berget, Tonev and Wakaso, yet Stokes gets the nod. I don't think we will keep any of them 3, Tonev maybe if he can get a run of games. Wakaso only seems to play in big games, anyone know the story why he hardly plays? He been injured 6 months.

I like Ronny's style, it is slowly showing, first 20 minutes against Partick Thistle and Motherwell Celtic were superb. We have the strikers so someone is going to get a good hammering soon from us, we created about 10 clear cut chances against Motherwell, but I can see it slowly clicking with the players and Ronny.

Johansen is fast becoming very important to Celtic. Lennon signing but moulded by Ronny before that. Johansen is just getting better and better and that is the position I think Common's played under Lenny, just behind the loan striker. Ronny playing a striker on the wing is SUPERB. I always played 3 strikers but 2 on the wings. How often wide men get in and can't score, train/coach strikers to be wingers is a good thing

PS: Commons is going in January sadly. 100%

I think he will be off unfortunately. His commitment and contribution has been superb in my opinion and I think he deserves a deal but I can understand the clubs position on giving long deals to players of his age.

You know that if Bolton weren't interested he'd have signed that one year extension.
Johansen plays his position and then that opens up space for someone like Armstrong in midfield.

It's purely for tactical reasons, it's harsh, but at some age the legs go.
