    I dont think commons would be such a big loss to us Tbf. Every time I have seen him he has slowed the play right down . We are trying to build a fast attacking side and if we are then commons has no place in it .imo

    This is my take on the matter as well. I wouldn't be fussed if he stayed or left to be honest. If we were playing the same system as last season, then I would perhaps have a different opinion, but I genuinely don't think he fits into Deila's set up. I'm not having a go at Commons, because certain formations will ultimately suit certain players more than others, but the one we are playing at present isn't benefiting Commons, and we aren't benefiting with him in it I don't think.

    If he wants wingers who cut in then Commons can play on the right and either Forrest or Stokes on the left. I will be raging if we let him go.

    Love the guy but he's been a spare part this season. Ronny clearly doesn't rate him and frankly there's no use for him any more.

    Perfect scenario now is we get a mill or so for him in Jan, let him finally get his taste of the EPL, then he comes back in a couple years as a coach.

    To be quite honest, I don't think he wants to be here and I don't think RD particularly wants him.

    Commons is at his best as the main man and as a focal point. Ronny wants us pressing as a team and defending as a team and isn't prepared to give him that free role he had last season.

    If he goes though we need to bring in a proven attacking midfielder because Commons is good for getting us out of trouble and we need to replace him with similar.
