Nope, he wants to stay but hasn't had a reasonable offer. Which you conceded means he's quite right to knock it back.

He was ok today, not great by any stretch. Felt he was quite sloppy with the ball, although that could have been said about most of our players today in my opinion. Massive slice of luck with the goal, but if you don't buy a ticket, you can't win the raffle I suppose. Going by his attempts on goal in recent games, I think a deflection was the only way he was going to find the net mind you.

But if he really wants to stay he would accept the offer, unless the offer is more important than staying.

Constantly gives the ball away either by the usual not being able to control it our just being really sloppy and slow, frustrating as * and why he shouldn't be in the team.

I like the way comes in off the left though and he always seems to take up good positions, just half the time he * it up - what the problems always been with Commons is consistency and when he's scoring no one cares about how he plays and no one ever seems to notice but when he's not scoring he's really not worth being any where near the team.

Bar that deflected goal today he's not scoring, his shooting is atrocious just now and even Lennon had him out the team for the full season when he wasn't scoring. This sums up for me that both managers have thought his general play isn't up to scratch.

But you've said he's quite right to knock back an unreasonable offer? So make up your mind here, you're contradicting yourself.

    He's not quibbling about cash.

Everyone agrees on the money end.

He was rotten today. If you think anything different you were watching a different game than me. The only player worse was Matthews. It was brutal watching them play on that right wing together.

Commons touch goes from the sublime to the ridiculous. Matthews has been struggling for form for a while now. I will say he's improving. Very slowly though. His average rating has went from about a 4/10 to a 5 or 6/10 in the last couple of months. His quality into the box is consistently awful though.

What's the big deal about a 1 or 2 year deal anyway, if he's getting the money he wants and wants to stay, why isn't he taking the year?

Nobody was worse than Matthews. Anybody who thinks otherwise, wasn't watching the same game as me. Absolute dross. I don't think I've ever seen one player give the ball away as much in a game as Matthews today.
