    He's been injured..

He's in the final year at the club, if he's happy to stay and play a bit part as an impact player, we should be happy to have him!

He's actually looking slimmer than ever right now which leads me to believe there must be some hope of him staying, and playing, at Celtic.

Fair play to him as it seems like he's got himself in shape and is prepared to fight for his place - despite the accusations of him downing tools for Deila.

He's been a great player since signing but time has caught up with him.

Shop window? You mean with a sign round his neck saying "free to good home"? :bbpd:
There is no way anyone, even silly English money, is going to pay a transfer fee for a 33 yr old Kris Commons (b'day end of this month); from Celtic's perspective they will have to free him to get him off the bill and even then, Commons is going to have to have an offer with at least comparable money or maybe slightly less but with an extra year on a guaranteed contract, for him to move.
Don't think we will see him at all in first team again.
Hibs is realistically his best hope.

what is this pish all these wee girls crying if you criticise commons? He scored a lot of goals but he wasnt a 'great servant' to our club, he was paid very handsomely to do a job and when he decided he didnt like our last manager he actively went about causing trouble and not trying, to the detriment of the club. He doesnt deserve any special treatment he's not the 'most talented player at the club' as some fanboys spout non stop and hes been slow and overweight for the past 3 or 4 seasons. He has no place in this side

Can still do a job in the Spiffle, and come on late in Europe. If he can accept not being in the first eleven, he could still have purpose here.

Deserves to still feature at Celtic and people are definitely writing him off early. Personally I'd like to see him hit the century-mark and join the exclusive club.
I believe he is on 91. Another 9 is definitely achievable, even making mostly substitute appearances, during the remainder of his contract.

Commons will tear it up with the likes of Roberts and Sinclair, how can people not get this?

Just getting back into full training so just getting his fitness up.

He's a great player to rotate with Rogic in the No.10 role.
