Played better without him in my opinion. Johansen brings more to the table I feel. The difference in pressing was very noticeable today.

Top scorer Kris Commons being frozen out?! Our best player last season! I like johannnsen but he is not as classy and effective as Commons.

Scott Brown was playing today though, major difference that.

 

Very telling that Kris was on the bench again so near to the January Transfer Window, not a good sign that I would suggest. I don't think Kris can live on the back of 31 goals last year, though it was a terrific feat,yet there was a plethora of penalties in there and tap ins. He is not worth a three year contract IMO, he is not even worth a one year contract with us, because he slows our play right down and has the touch of a demented rapist, and constantly turns the ball back away from the attack.That is all down to lack of match fitness and self discipline. Deila and Collins won't stand for that defiance to adapt and improve himself as a player.

Commons is 32 He's done us a great service as a hun skelper and a goal scorer but the time has come to leave he's the sort of guy who needs a run of games to stay fit a bit like Wayne Rooney

 

People who score 30+ goals in a season cant be finished the very bext season just not possible.

 

:smiley-laughing002: I knew you were going to comment on that. Surely you seen the difference between Commons and Johansen's pressing though. Both playing in the same position on Thursday and yesterday.

 

Johansen is exceptional at it, I'll agree but Commons was pressing on Thursday night as well, did you see the difference with Brown pressing in the deeper role than Johansen though?

Scott Brown is a major difference in our team, especially when it comes to pressuring opposition players. I don't think Commons is any worse at pressing the opposition than Stokes or Forrest.
