I am not sure was Commons lucky last year scoring in excess of 30 goals , or is he unlucky this season . I think Commons needs to score often and regularly if he is going to keep his place on the team . I suspect that by the end of the year Ronnie will be trying to field Guidetti and SS in the team together .

Excellent first half today. Deserved MOTM. Not as great the second half though.

I think he knows if he wants to be starting games in Europe then he has to score goals like he did last season. Unfortunately it's making him look greedy as * lol.

I like Commons but his constant firing of balls over the bar this season is really beginning to annoy me. Yes he has a great shot on him but would like to see him pass more than he has been. We all know that he is a great passer aswell. today if he was anywhere near the box his first thought seemed to be shoot rather than play scepovic in. With the one striker up top his role in creating chances and supporting the striker is even more important.

Thought he made the wrong decision a few times today, could have had a few assists. Still, he scored and hit the bar and played a lovely flicked pass out wide with his heel. He could have released through balls to the striker earlier during attacks and could have implemented a bit more variation as opposed to constantly drifting onto his left side for a strike.

    Totally agree.

Looked dangerous every time he let a shot go yesterday and, although it benefitted from a deflection, deserved a goal. Love the way him, McGregor and Brown looked yesterday and am looking forward to seeing them develop as a unit as the season progresses.

This... It's easy to see from the tv where he could play it but there was no effort. He was only interested in shooting.

Wasted about 5 chances for scepovic n another 5 for guidetti by delaying the pass or shooting

its good that he is willing to have a pop at goal but there is times when there is a boy through and he could quite easily put him through but instead decides to take on a ridiculous shot. Having a shot is good but when there is a better option he needs to pass the ball instead of being so greedy.
