I neither love Deila or hate Deila. I am prepared to give him more time, however my interim report is. That he isn't getting as much out of the players as Lennon did . If Berget is typical of the type of signing we are going to get during his tenure we may have problems

 

Commons is our best player imo.
He scores and he creates.
Not bothered that he can't run 100m in less than 11 seconds. Berget did the most running of any player on the pitch against Maribor (1st half) and only created 1 half chance.

 

I'd be up for playing this guy as our striker until we get someone else in. He changes games and is the best player we have and is twice the player of Stokes.

 

He can go any time.

Today was up there with the worst I've ever seen him play. Sadly, though, he it wasn't that different to his usual performances. He brought absolutely nothing to the team.

He loses the ball constantly through * touches, sleeping and waiting for the ball to reach him, poor passes and shots from ridiculous angles and distances.

Very rarely do I dislike a Celtic player, but I really don't like Commons. As a person he seems brand new but he really * me off on the pitch.

 

I don't think it's anything to do with that.

He's always been like this, but he scored goals and all was forgiven. I've never taken to him as a player because his all round play is horrid.

 

He was an ornament today, we needed someone in the hold to provide a link and movement and thats where he was meant to be but jhe just stood hiding at the edge of the box and Griffiths and Stokes spent more time in there.

 

Shouldn't be captain but I really couldn't see any other candidate today. Not enough genuine leaders.

 

I would've made him Captain correct decision for todays match

 

He was pretty * today to say the least.

Slow, no shots on target that I can remember- pushed off the ball too easy like most of our forward players.

 

I agree he wasn't his usual self he hasn't been actually since Deila took over as Manager

 

Of the players available yes, but what I'm saying is that he shouldn't be the captain because he isn't captain material at all.

He needs better strikers. End of.

 

I hear what he's selling, and it sounds good, but I have very real doubts about his ability to deliver - this may not be his fault entirely, I think he massively overestimated what he was walking into player wise, and support from the board to buy/replace. But I'd still give him until Christmas anyway... If it's not shaping up by then we can bring in someone else and give them the transfer window to restructure

 

Nothing is coming off for him. Like his second season all over again

 

Kris Commons will take a £4k p/w wage cut and sign a two year extension with @CelticFC either Tomorrow or Wednesday to take him to 2017

Agent Scotland posted it. Plus mentioned Scott Brown will need to take a wage cut when it comes to renewing his.

 

Glad he is staying and signing a new deal if this is true. But why is he having to take a pay cut? Can't we at least keep him on the same money as he is one currently?
