    If it makes you's feel any better If I had to play one of the following in Europe(CL Group Stages) through being forced to out of Commons, Stokes, Brown, Mulgrew or Forrest then I would most definitely pick Commons out that lot.

    Commons can do it in Europe just a different style to in scotland. Watch back the barca win. He never lost it once. He looked like a real footballer with a footballing brain. Nice clever dummies and switched the play lovely. He's not able to do what he does in scotland but we dont really get the service in Europe for that. In Iceland he could of had a hat trick though. Was unlucky with volley but that bollovks about grass being too long was * when he * it to the keeper from sic yards

    He's good enough against teams we face in the qualifiers or even the odd team we get in the group stage (Spartak Moscow) but overall he's ineffective in Europe.

    If we bring in this Jeff Louis guy, I would actually see him leaving or at least losing his starting 11 spot which would break my heart a wee bit because he's a great player and an ever better human being.
