Still dont think he should have won POTY, was dreadful yesterday but again even managed to score and assist :56:

Think he is becoming the new Sammy, just frustrating to watch the amount of times he gets the ball took of him or lets passes bye him as he's too stiff or takes too many touches and misses the chance to release someone. But then comes up with good moments of play and a lot of goals.

During a game you are like....
    :notworthy :31: :icon_mrgreen:  :47: :50: :43: :46: :40: :*: :57:

Dont know but its not like it was a one off past 6 month he's been very inconsistant(apart from scoring), play breaks down it him by far more than anyone else in the team(except Samaras on a bad day). Wether it's mis-controlling the ball, being nudged off it, trying to turn but too stiff, letting the ball go past him then getting beaten to it.

Although Forrest doesnt score as much as him, it would have been good to see him playing in that role if he was fit more, doing the type of thing Sterling does for Liverpool.

It's really not that a problem that Commons has, his inability to stop scoring .
We should be delighted that Commons can score when playing badly.
Some supporters are very hard to please .

He was at Greenock CSC on Friday? He looked really cheery and happy and was celebrating, therefore I doubt Oscars memory was impeding on his performance.

And his poor performances are nothing new.

Aye, we arent going to get perfect players but he is an annoying player to watch half the time. Wee bit like Scott McDonald actually, McDonald was a good goalscorer too but you always felt he never quite done enough.

If people think he has been poor for a while and scoring 32 goals this season I would hate to see him playing fantastic and not getting the goals.

Canny win with some people :icon_mrgreen:

He should have been subbed that night prior to him scoring the hat-trick. He was the worst player on the park in my opinion. He was very poor at the weekend also, and then comes up with an assist and then a goal. When a player is involved in so many key things, as Commons has been this year, it would be hard for any manager to take him off, even if he was having a poor game.

Commons was brutal up until Griffiths went off, he's still adapting his game when Griffiths is playing, they both like to take up the same positions on the pitch. Only natural there is a period of adaption.

It was his general play that annoyed me at the weekend at times mate. He got caught on the ball far too often first half on Sunday, as did others. The game first half had a pre season friendly feel to it from our point of view I felt. Dundee Utd were by far the better team, and pressed us all over the park. It showed that they had guys fighting for a place in a Scottish Cup Final team line up next week, and we had guys ready to go on holiday.

We should be overjoyed that we have a player like Kris on our book, not only is he a top player but, the way he conducts himself off field always gives the club a good name

I know what you mean mate, I've noticed Commons doing so before but that did change as soon as Griffiths went off. Don't now if he was overthinking it or what but as soon as he got that tad bit higher up the pitch his touch was sure and he started playing as he has all season.

I too think that he's been rank with his overall play far too often, killie away was one of the worst and then again on saturday he lost the ball every time he touched it in the first, too slow, too slack throughout.. Him and mulgrew were by far are worst performers in the first half sunday...

Obviously didn't watch the game at the weekend then.

As many will tell you, he was poor in the first half, as were nearly all of the starting X1. It was played like a pre-season friendly from our point of view first half. If you couldn't see Commons was having a poor game, then I would have to question your footballing knowledge.

    Negative fan......:smiley-laughing002:
