    Here's the thing... Commons was always a 6 month wonder then stale.
    Came here, we got that half season. A lot of people wrote him off but he had some personal issues that could have put many others in that position out the game. But he came back and since then he's bossed it.

    He loves it here. His missus loves it here. We love him here.

    He lives round the corner from me. Always feel like popping round in person when he plays like he did tonight and saying 'Here that was magic today, great goals etc.' but then he'd be like 'Who the * are you?' Wouldn't be worth the hassle.

    pretty sure his missus miscarried, and I remember him talking about not being up for it 100% mentally. But he came through it and is loving his football here. As I said he's normally just a half season wonder then fades away but Celtic and Lennon have really brought the best out in him.

    We don't need to spend that amount of money to get a 20-30 goal striker. Look at Billy McKay at Inverness. He would cost us 500k-1m. Yeah he probably wouldn't be an exciting signing but he would score goals. He reminds me a little bit of Scott McDonald.

    Yeah we all wanted Finnbogason but if you made a YouTube video of all Billy McKays goals at Inverness we would probably get quite excited about him as well.

    I think signing a player who can do it both in the SPFL and Europe would ckst a lot more.
