Have NEVER been a fan of Commons. Selfish & lazy person. Not a team player. Lennon needs to sort out this mess quickly

    Today.

Agreed about Commons, though, other than his first few months here, he has been dreadful.

Hooper hadn't played for 3 weeks before Benfica...he was clearly injured badly enough to the extent that he never made the bench once in those 3 weeks.

He is then thrown in the deep end versus Benfica....he plays the 90 despite being completely unfit...and you expect him to be better after only 4 days??

He should be rested versus hearts and played versus arbroath, then we will know if he is fit for Spartak

What did Wanyama do today that was wrong? Because he didn't score another cracking goal from 25 yards out? Or because he didn't 'Wanyama' one of the opposition players and get himself a yellow card?

Missing Ki badly. Commons needs him as competition.

Nothing to do with that, actually.

More to do with the fact that he was caught sleeping at times. Wanyama is a cracking player but he does have the odd poor game.

Some people seem to think he plays brilliant nearly every game, well he doesn't.

Today he wasn't sharp enough, quite sloppy in possession aswell. As most people are saying, Kayal, Ambrose and Lustig (to a certain extent) were the only players with pass marks today.

I wouldn't have said Wanyama had a great game, but I wouldn't have singled him out as having a poor one either. He pretty much strolled through the midfield the way he always does.

Well, to me, if you can't get pass marks against Inverness at Celtic Park, you had quite a poor game.

He did what he had to do. He was not at fault for the goal in any way, shape or form. His job is to dominate the midfield and get forward when he can, which is what he done today. It's not his fault that our strikers can't finish their dinner at the moment.

We didn't exactly dominate the midfield though, and if we did, Kayal was the one doing exactly what you just said, not Wanyama.

It's rare that I directly criticise players but Commons was today's stand-out donkey. Utterly awful performance today.

Yeah, okay. I'm not going to go back and forth with this all night, as quite frankly, it is all irrelevant. The fact remains however, that Wanyama has been one of the most consistent performers we've had throughout the last two seasons. I don't recall Neil Lennon ever slapping a £25m price tag on Kayal's head.

Pointless arguing but what you said has nothing to do with today.

I have already said he is a great player who has been very consistent, but today was on of his few off days:50:

Plus, I think Wanyama is far better than Kayal.

Commons has been pish for weeks and needs dropped. How Lenny can justify keeping McGeouch out for Commons beats me.
