Players deserve criticism when they are poor, he seems like he has lost the hunger to perform. Should be dropped and other players such as McGeough given a chance.

 

That's not criticism, that's abuse. We've got enough people in this country abusing our players; Celtic fans should not be abusing anyone who wears the hoops.

If it was one of the younger players who hasn't established himself in the team yet and still learning the trade then comments like mine would be detrimental. However for a player like Kris, he's big enough to deal with that and needs to up his game, or stop bringing the team down with his poor performances, it's not the first time this year he has been well below standard.

 

Don't want to see him in a celtic shirt for a good while after that. Samararse too.

As far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't be anywhere near a place in the starting XI right now. He has been blowing hot and cold far too often in the last couple of seasons.

The only time that he has shown that he can be a truly great player was when he first joined us in January 2011 and scored 14 goals from midfield between then and the end of that season. Since then, he's done very little to show that he deserves to be in the team ahead of the likes of McGeough, who we all know is a great and exciting young talent. Shocking again today, could barely pick out a pass.

 

Ah seriously wish some of you on here would stop being so reactionary towards some of our players Wee Commons has been a top player for us this season, I would hate to hear some of your screams when big Victor, or Ambrose have a bad game or two for us. Hooper however I would say has been poor recently, yet I dont hear this same mob screaming to have him him sacked, fined, or left to rot in the reserves. Players irrespective who they are, will at some time hit a dip in form, but get behind them instead of berating them, ............... if they werent good enough for us, then punt them, but these are players who are proven winners with us.

 

This. He had a real howler of a game today but put the spears away for * sake.

 

I can't remember the last time Wanyama had a bad game for us. Ambrose has only been here for a few months, but he's been defensively solid for 90% of that time and is also good at getting forward.

However, this is not the first time that Commons has lost his form and let the team down as a result. The blame also lies with Lennon though, for picking him every week. It is as clear as day that he needs a prolonged rest and then hopefully he can come back looking like the same player that we signed almost two years ago.

 

Hooper is unfit, not his fault.

Commons has been awful since the start of the group stages. He takes unnecessary shots attempting to score from impossible angles. He gives away possession and consistently wastes freekicks and corners.

If you watched the Benfica game you wouldve noticed commons shooting from an impossible angle instead of cutting back to lustig and surely last 16 football.

 

Waste of a jersey today. Having a poor game doesn't bother me, but the selfishness shown on the ball from commons today from the first minute to the last was unacceptable. He needs to learn to pass the ball.

 

Im a big commons fan but he really needs a boot up the * atm, if dropping him and giving mcgeouch a chance does that then im all for it. Him and sammy were sooo frustrating today.

 

Had a shocker today, but has played well in other games.

If a player is having a howler, it's up to the manager to hook him, and that didn't happen.
