    Agreed. Commons is our best player so far this season I feel, though there are a few contenders. He looks infinitely sharper, faster over set distances and leaner this year, that has made all the difference to his game, because it always has been there. I think Commons is one of those players who just has to keep working on his fitness and condition all the time and he will be alright if he does that.

    He was today! In and around the box he was turning defenders inside out, and caused a lot of trouble with the ball at his feet. Generally it's not his best attribute but today he showed he has it in his locker.

    Commons is one of those players you can just tell, like Hartson, Boyd, Rooney who will put about 2 stone on within months of retiring. You get the feeling they constantly eat pizzas, curries, kebabs, chocolate, crisps etc

    Think Commons will be called up by Levein now, can't see how he can resist Commons's irresistible form just now. As for Levein, I think he is a better club manager than international manager, not many managers can go from being a daily involved club manager to the big gaps of a few games a year as Scotland manager, takes a special breed. It used to be they combined the job of club and country manager, maybe they need to get back to that system, because it must be boring as * just being a country manager if you love the game.

    If he had a bit more pace about him he could be a future Celtic great. He can get into good attacking positions but his pace let's him down sometimes.

    He would be in the first 11 of the majority of the Premiership as he is.

    He is already producing at a higher level, in the Champions League.
