Kris Commons

Commons irritates me sometimes with his 'shoot from anywhere' approach and also with the number of hollywood passes he tries. It's fine to try these things now and again, as he's capable of pulling them off sometimes, but for me he wastes possession too often.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to keep it simple, Kris.

 

He's defo the only one who got pass marks today... always chasing opponents about and seemed to be the only one interested in the SPL!

 

If you dont buy a ticket you wont win the lotto.

Commons success rate with long range shots allows him to keep trying these imo.

 

I don't want to take those things out of his game, I just wish he'd be more selective about when he tries them.

 

Scored a goal and looked dangerous . Seriously * * off what the * was he playing at trying to score from the half way line utter stupid . Then once again later in the game tried another crazy shot when the box was full of players waiting for the ball to be played into the box.

 

That's exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about.

 

Kris Commons has every right to do that.

Because it can work. The rest of our team was doing * all anyway.

yeah others are hinting at it

the reason i believe commons was being so greedy and shooting a lot was because he knew the rest of the team were playing * awful

ive seen him doing this more than a few times

he sees the team isn't playing well and tries to do it himself

it also comes about when players dont trust other players with the ball

 

You have to remember as well, at the time late on in the game when he was having a pop from all angles, St Johnstone were stringing 7 players across the back, really difficult to find space for a killer pass in that situation.

That being said his dig from all of 40 odd yards was a bit ambitious to say the least :smiley-laughing002:

 

* gutted Kris has not got into the Scotland team, for levien to say he is 8 places behind other people for a cap is a right boot in the balls to Kris. But as we al know, levien has not got a * clue, and i know Kris will continue his great start to the season with Celtic. Tbh if i was in his poition i would make myself unavailable to Levien for good.

 

You and me both. Don't think Kris is the type of lad to do that though. Gutted for him he hasn't made the Scotland squad. Eight players better than him in midfield? That's a * joke! Better news for Celtic though. He can just focus on us.

 

kris commons is probably the best scottish attacking midfielder in the spl , stars for the biggest club in scotland , plays well in champions league games , yet levein would rather play a load of average west brom and * leeds players , that couldnt lace kris' boots. levein is a clueless * to a level i have never seen in international management . an embarassment of a human being.

just keep playing for celtic kris , you are doing a good job son .

 

The day Levein leaves or gets sacked from the Scotland job will be the best day of Kris' international career. Levein does not have the slightest * clue and recent results back that up.

 

I really have to ask............If Scotland (Levein) knew that Naismith was going to be on the end of a ban.....why the * pick him instead of Commons?

 

Kris Commons isn't in the Scotland squad because he pulled out last year to go on holiday.

He is a far superior player.

There is no better attacking MF'er in the Scotland squad than Commons.

Steven Fletcher told them last year that he didn't want to play for them and he's now back in the squad ahead of Commons. I don't know what he has against Kris, but there's definitely something there.
