    Like a new signing if he keeps up this level of performance. Hopefully he will get even better with more game time.

    Need players who can shoot from distance, particularly given the amount of times we will play against packed defences, i.e. every league game.

    Aye and it was swerving away from him too, the corner kick had so much dip on it the defenders had no idea where it was goin', their's not many folk can stun the football the way he does. So glad he's lovin' his fitbaw again!!!

    The guy is class, scored a belter, good composure on the ball, has the ability to see a pass, whipped in a couple of cracking deliveries into the box, when he's on form he makes us tick. :shamrock:

    has started the season on fire, looking a lot more like his old self! :50:

    a wonderful finish last night!

    he does frustrate the * out of me sometimes but there's no doubting his quality; like some have said, almost like a new signing this year considering how poor he was this time last season

    Simply put, Celtic are a completely different proposition when a fit Commons is playing well. A crucial componenet of the team, and the few hundred k we paid for him looks delightfully low, let's face facts.

    he's one of our more important player, one of the few who has excellent movement off the ball and when he's on it he's the vision to pick out a pass.

    and he loves to shoot...and if you dont shoot you dont score...expect to see a lot of long range goals from him this season.

    why does he frustrate you?

    despite his lack of form last season, he was still 2nd or third top assister for us. glad he has got his scoring boots back. we are a different team when he is on form.

    Mostly when he takes on a long shot that goes high or wide when a pass might have been a better option! On the other hand, it's good to have a guy who's always willing to have a pop at goal, the law of averages would suggest that one's bound to go in eventually and we know he's certainly capable!

    When on form, Commons is an essential player for our team and I'm really enjoying his so far this season and I think he can only get better! :50:
