Anyone else think he looks like Pogba? If he plays like him I won't complain

The thing that annoys me about Bitton is that he is so slow on the ball, at first you think he's cool as * but then when he's actually pressured you just realise that's how he plays. But Eboue looks a lot sharper and quicker, his head is always moving, he knows his next move before the ball is at his feet and that's a great trait to have.

Exactly. This guy looks like he can be quick and sharp when he needs to be, while Bitton is just slow all of the time

I love this idea as it shows that they're combing the leagues worldwide and are picking winners. I have absolutely no doubt BR will be able to manage this player and turn him in to a big money spinner.

Watched that video above and was thinking * *, tells us nothing but was a slow burner. Skip first minute or 2 and you can see what he's capable of. Few long range passes. Some nice skill. Good passer and composed. Quite imposing in the tackle..

Can tell he has a good football brain in where he's positioning himself, covering when defending and taking the ball out or passing forward. What will also help Krasnodar play good passing football and he's sitting deep splitting the centre back which Brendan likes so he should transition easily into our system. Having him sitting deeper and Brown further forward would be a great partnership especially in Europe.

    Me likey.

Wish there was more footage of this boy around. Obviously he can't be fully judged based on Youtube videos but it'd give us an idea of what we're getting.

Certainly looks like the player we've been needing in Europe anyway, in terms of the position he occupies.

From that video it looks like the position Broon currently occupies.

True but Brown does a power of running which means he isn't the sort of defensive midfielder that say Wanyama is. As he tends to sit and just shield the back 4.

I'm hoping Eboue is that sort of player.

Nah I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just saying that is the role he has been taking up, so will be good to have a more natural DM, who also has legs and can spray passes about.

Found another video, and it is probably the worst I've ever seen.:56:

If this guy is as good as he sounds then him, Brown, Armstrong and Rogic is a very good pool of midfielders. Just one more on top of that would be cracking.

I can't tell where he is, it looks like it's zoomed in and missing him out the shot :56: weird.

I think in terms of quality first team players that's probably enough, given that Armstrong can actually fill both defensive and attacking roles and there are other options from the forward line to drop in to the number 10 if necessary. You've also got players like McGregor and Christie to fall back on. It would allow us to move a couple out as well, Bitton for example. I think the midfield is looking very solid once this guy is official. It's actually the defense that worries me the most, would like to see that solidified.
