    Wonder if he's planning to retire this season. He's still a decent player but to get consistent game time he's have to move to a much smaller club.

    Maybe a defensive coaching role available for him at the club with the odd appearance if we get a lot of injuries in central defence. Rodgers would probably like to keep him at the club for his experience, professionalism and definitely morale!!

    That's a cracking interview from the big man. I know it's daft but I'd like him to stay as a coach and maybe become our manager one day after Brendan finally moves on. He just has such an infectious enthusiasm for football and, it seems, us as well. I loved where he says he celebrates winning in training. :56:

    Without a single bit of evidence that he has anything about him as a Manager that's crazy talk.

    A coach, however, we can all see and hear how good his natural leadership is on and off the park and his professionalism.
