Said it in the match thread. He's always had moments like that in his career, "Efe" moments.

Shame he saved them for tonight.

At half-time I said he was the man holding our defence together. Should have kept my trap shut.

 

What did he say? turned it all off at the whistle, couldnt be * listening to the commentators.

 

Shame for the big man.

when teams are just waltzing through through your midfield though you are always putting your CB's under constant pressure.

Only so long they can hold out in tha situation.

 

Just held his hands up, admitted his mistakes. Said he's 35 year old and he's still making mistakes a 16 year old would make. Apologised and that.

Broony with him backing him 100% too.

 

Good, open and honest. hands up. I like that. Don't need to tell him to go learn from it as we know he will kick himself the hardest and he has better in him. On to the next game Kolo.

 

Good to see he isnt getting pelters, been immense for us far before tonight.

 

Really felt gutted for him. Massive respect to him coming out and admitting that, most players hide.

Is he really going to get a bye for tonight?

I'm well aware how good he has been since joining, but I've seen Celtic players absolutely slated on here for less down the years.

He was at fault for both goals, there's no way two ways about it. Rather than taking a chance at their first and trying to let it run, just concede the corner or put it out for a throw in and get the defence reorganized.

As for their second, taking too much time to make a simple pass at this level is going to end in tears a lot more often that it would domestically, and it did tonight.

The big man has been great up until tonight, but there's no excusing those two incidents. They were almost Ambrose-esque.

 

Looked like he was playing through an injury for the last 15 minutes. Hopefully he's okay for the weekend.

 

He hasn't made a mistake since arriving. That's why he's rightly being cut a helluva lot of slack..

Once he get's compared to Efe, we're done..

 

He's not getting a pass but he also stopped it from being a rout with some last ditch tackles.

It was a poor game from him but until he starts turning performances like that regularly (al la Ambrose), then it would be unfair to slate him too much.

It took big stones from him to come out and face the interview as well.

 

I would be bringing Jozo in for one of Kolo/Erik anyway, both looked a bit heavy legged tonight.

 

It could be age beginning to catch up with Toure, time will tell. Ambrose ain't got that excuse.

 

Maybe a good idea to give Kolo a bit of a rest.

It'd be good to see Jozo and Erik together in a big match anyway, as it looks like they will be the pairing in the long term.

 

He's not getting a bye though is he?

People are saying he cost us, and the man himself is saying it. Nobody is excusing it.

 

No-one is denying he cost us the game tonight.
