Well our inability to score more than two goals in a game has cost us tonight. Need to sharpen the * up in that area badly.

Sloppy performance overall, wide open at times.

Hopefully Brown and Armstrong will be back for the Malmo games.

Forrest played really well- lets see if he can be consistent and keep it up.

 

GMS had a bit of a stinker when he came until he got moved out left later in 2nd half. Don't see why Henderson never got on, game was calling out for him, he has pace, energy and loves a tackle which is what we needed in the middle not Mulgrew.

Outwith the initial 20-25 minutes it was a poor match. We may not have a * given right to win every game we play, but teams like Kilmarnock shouldn't be giving us that much hassle.

It's really frustrating to watch us at times, we're a decent side, but we needlessly make things difficult for ourselves. The amount of sloppy passes is getting worse with each passing game and not only is it causing the players more work, but a half-decent team will punish us for it. Coasting after we take the lead is really starting to annoy me as well. I understand why we might not wan't to run ourselves in to the ground if we've got important games coming up, but the Partick game & tonight are prime examples of where we just seem rather lackadaisical in our play once we take the lead.

GMS was pretty much anonymous when he came on, as was Johansen. It might sound a bit extreme, but if Johansen isn't playing behind the striker, or possibly on the wing, he shouldn't play at all. He's completely wasted playing further back and adds very little to the team when played there. On a more positive note though, I thought Janko looked decent. I'd be interested to see how he plays further up the pitch, but he looks to be a solid RB at the very least. Forrest deserves praise tonight as well. He might have fluffed a couple of chances in front of goal, but he put in a good shift.

In the long run, this result doesn't really matter. It was a poor performance against a poor side, something that happens even with the best teams. I don't think this really alters our chances against Malmo either to be honest, seeing as nearly half of the team tonight won't be playing next Wednesday.
