Kilmarnock vs Celtic 8th May 12.45 Kick off Live on Sky Sports

Obviously missing such important players as kayal and Ledley hurt us yesterday. But after such an abject and spineless showing on Wednesday we got a solid and workman like performance and a derserved 3 points.So credit to Lennon and the team for showing some strength of character. Not to mention what a strike from Commons for the second goal. Defensively we looked much better. Kilmarnock hardly got much of a sniff around goal and we certainly did enough down the other end to deserve the 3 points without playing the brilliant free flowing football of a couple of weeks back when we thumped Kilmarnock.

 

I thought we played OK, even quite well in parts. It was never vintage or on the same level as our last visit to Rugby Pk but we were in total control of the game and did more than enough to win.

We were far from poor and had some decent individual performances from Brown, Rogne & Murphy, in particular.
