Aye, just said in the injury thread.

Tbh I want to have a look at him ASAP and he has already got lots of experience of playing on plastic pitches in Sweden.

Thats really unfortunate for Welsh given he likely would have got the nod in place of CCV this weekend. Looks like Lagerbielke will be getting a debut straight away. Will be interesting to see who starts in the middle with Hatate out. Will Turnbull get another start or maybe a chance for Holm this weekend after looking good off the bench the past 2 weeks. I suspect we will see Turnbull get another start and maybe Holm gets a longer run out off the bench.

I'll be happy with any type of win against them considering as it's on that * pitch and we have a few of our players missing. No doubt the Ayrshire huns will be launching their usual high balls and long throw-ins all day at us while also trying to boot our players off the park into the bargain.

This will be a bruising encounter, their game plan worked a treat against the huns. Totally got in about their midfield.
Will be like a cup final for them, will have their tails up. And everything about this tie reeks-horrible pitch, horrible hun * manager, likewise fans. Zero protection from officials. Will be an eye opener for our new boys.
Just need to keep the focus and pick them off. With Welsh and CCV missing, likely see a debut for Gus-or maybe run with Scales, he will have the physicality for these *, or would that see us lobsided a tad, with both Rocki and Scales both left sided???

Holm attacking mid and O’Riley sitting deeper? Why?

If they approach us like they did the Huns we’ll destroy them. Aimless crosses aren’t our thing, Kyogo and O’Riley will run riot with they sorta tactics.

They will set up differently though, they’ll mark man to man, McInnes does it everytime with us. Kyogo’s movement dropping deep and wingers in behind or Kyogo going offside for a run back and nipping in, it won’t go well.

    But thats what he’ll do.

I think it’s going to be properly tough tomorrow. A battle and a half.

No biggie, would just stick with McGregor and O'Riley in the deeper roles until get used to the Rodgers system and build the partnership.

In fairness O’Riley did mention he likes playing deeper and seeing the game in front of him, also some people that watched holm last season said he was better suited further forward I reckon it would work well either way

Is AJ available for a spot on the bench for this? Actually don't think he'll be risked at all due to the pitch. Hoping for a repeat scoreline from around this time last year.
