    4 players on both sides who I wouldn't say are technically great at all. We badly need a couple more options in there. A fullback who can actually beat a man and cross a ball. Taylor can barely lift the ball off the deck ffs.

    Abada and Maeda get most if not all of their goals from later arrivals in the box etc. We need someone firstly to replace Jota and then I'd say another is still required.

    We could do so much better than Maeda IMO. I get * love him for his work rate but as a footballer he's incredibly average.

    Watch him score a worldie second half but still. My opinion on him has been the same for a while. At best he's a rotation striker option.

    A very common theme under Brendan is the willingness to just pass it back and recycle possession along the back line. Under Ange he actively made a point to not play like that, to be direct, relentless in trying to create something and progress the ball forward.

    What I'd give to have this being done on the touchline today.

    Expected a bigger impact from Rodgers.

    It's early days of course and we can acknowledge the backline is never the same game to game, also that pitch.
    But, this football is brutal to watch.
    Passing around the back then pinging the ball diagonally and hoping for the best.

    Sounds familiar to another clubs * tactics if you ask me.

    Expected Rodgers to continue from where Ange left off, but it feels more like when Lennon took over - not actually doing much and hoping the players carry on as was.

    Time will change it I'm sure, but today's game and so far to now, flat and brutal football to be watching.

    Jota is the best winger I’ve seen at Celtic, apart from Thommo if we’re classing him as a winger.

    On the evidence of this, even I’ve underrated him.

    The burden of creativity from wide areas was all on him.

    Maeda and Abada need to be dropped in this system, if teams man mark them they can’t do anything they only get success with runs in behind. Yang much better suited for this style

    Had a few chances and final ball was pish , we've slowed our play and allowed them to settle and stay in shape ,it's making it difficult to break them down as they have congested the pitch it's stopping our midfield from creating anything after our early chances ,it seems like some players are needing too much time to control the ball and move it forward too.

    Needs to knock this stuff out. It's already crept firmly in to the side just now and it's gonna be s long season if he continues this way again.

    Honestly thought he was gonna be more aggressive in attack when he made some good comments about it, but yet to see that be the case.

    He was monumental for us at it..

    Getting us up the park. His close control. Ability to go by a man. Provide the telling moments infront of goal or assisting. Out of nothing sometimes..

    forgot how boring Rodger's football was. pass pass pass do nothing with it kick it back to keeper keeper boots it out the park. absolutely boring as * to watch. going from Ange back to the rat... what an anti climax
