This is like going back 4 years to the end of Rodgers slow turgid football, it’s pish and not effective if we can’t even play with pace out from the back.

    Yang for Maeda
    Haksa for Abada
    Turnbull for O'Riley

At least those wingers can go past a man and Turnbull will put his laces through it

But yeah, woefully uninspiring side to side pish with nobody prepared to take a risk and play the killer pass.

Kyogo must be fuming with the amount of runs the rest of the team miss.

Sun behind us this half need to be firing shots from everywhere and test their keeper.

Our fullbacks and wide players are killing us, absolutely zero creativity between them.

Rodgers needs to be brave and drop Taylor for the St Johnstone game, even if its for Bernabei.

Maeda doesn't work as a winger under this system either, play Yang and have Maeda as our backup ST.

Hopefully Brendan makes some half-time subs like he did last week, * knows we need it

Started off brightly enough but my * we died after about 20 minutes.

A bit of quick passing and we’ll be fine. McInnes teams can’t cope with that.

We need to stop Taylor just sending long balls to Maeda. It’s not going to work. That Mayo is man-marking him. He needs to start passing to the midfielders. He’s meant to be a passing full back.

Holm needs to start insisting on the ball instead of waiting to see if someone passes it to him.

In general, the midfield need to fight for second balls.

Which is made all the more surprising because he's a painting supervisor and he has to watch to make sure it's dry...

Brutal game to watch....we are so lackluster in everything we do and not enough movement. The pitch is a * disgrace to top flight football.

It's the aimless punts up the park that are doing my box in..

All 3 games we've been at it when under any press or we'll knock it about at the back and go side to side and do it again. There's no excuse for that. It's weak as *..

That's all 3 games now where teams have identified we're fragile with it and pressed us high..

We've got to be much better and composed at playing around it regularly. No good enough..

Badly in need of a winger with some actual technical ability to go past people.

Have some perspective. Yes we've been poor by our standard. That doesn't mean they have been better. We have most of the ball and have had the best chances. The expectation is on us and that has colored your view. A complete neutral, with zero knowledge of Scottish football, would never say that Kilmarnock were the 'better side' that half.

We took our chances in the first two games but I don't think either performance was particularly good. A scan through the match threads will back that up.

I just can't take to this style of football at all. There's literally no urgency and every other pass is a backwards one.

Brutal stuff so far. We're back at the end of Rodgers 1st spell where all we did was endlessly pass the ball from side to side. Ralston doesn't look comfortable, Taylor looks a shadow of the player from last season, the midfield is almost non-existent and physically weak to boot. Forwards are trying to do something but Abada and Maeda don't have good enough control and it constantly lets us down. Killie nothing to offer but effort but that my be enough the way we're playing. The desperation from the commentators and Female presenter to convince us Lagerbielke is having a nightmare is pathetic BTW.
