    Well he's out of contract in the summer & is miles better than any of the * we have at CB.

    He was a very plausible signing rumour & maybe could've cost us nothing with a straight swap of McManus going to SUFC - which was a justifiable rumour.

    I'd say i've shown myself up for mixing the guy up with someone else. There are many posts on here which come across over-eager for us to sign Rep. of Ireland internationals, as if their nationality is as important, or moreso, than their ability.

    Seems it's wages that broke our attempt at signing him - as this price is easily within our reach.

    That's if we were ever actually in for him - he's good value at under 2millions, if he goes for that.

    Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is eyeing a £1.75m swoop for Sheffield United centre-back Matthew Kilgallon.

    i agree with alsybhoy nuhin much raved about him his central defender partners much better than him his name is chris morgan big bully put 2 guys in hospital last yeer 1 needed surgery on a fractured skull

    not a fan of fracturing peoples skulls but hes a big bullying so n so id rather him than killgallon
