Very disappointed on this one, hopefully we can bring in St. Ledger

 

Most fans dont care who we get in...they just want to see signings.

 

This is disappointing. He would be a great add to the squad from what i know of him. I really do want to see some quality signings so we can make a run for top table

He'd rather keep his options open....he is likely to get a big move. Hes only looking after himself....hes not thinking of celtic or the fans....and neither he should if celtic and epl teams are going to be fighting for his signature.

 

Well, Celtic are a big move, bigger than hes going to get in england. I didnt mention the fans. We need a player now, not one thats going to wait and see who offers him most money. I want the guy in but ive not saw a great deal about him if im honest. But he's known for a long time that he wasnt going to be at united after his contract is up, he should have a rough idea where he wants to go now. I just odnt think he knows how big a club Celtic are!

 

I'm sure hes well well aware of how big a club celtic are. Most players (not all) would choose a smaller EPL team on bigger wages though....could be accused of lacking ambition or it could be seen that he wants to play against the top players every week rather than a few games per season in the CL...if hes lucky.

I'm just trying to see it from a players point of view.

 

Well, fair enough. Mibbe im just * off at the lack of transfers in at the moment!!! Pity that some footballers would settle for abit more money than a few medals but i guess thats their choices. I like to look at players like liam miller,wayne routledge and anthony stokes that could have been playing for us but chose other teams for different reasons.

 

Miller done well out of his move. Hes rich beyond his wildest dreams following his 5 year contract with man utd and several moves since. Yes back in the SPL but sorted for life.

Stokes could well end up at Parkhead yet.

 

well...suppose miller did get one medal when he was at us but id imagine he'd still be loaded if he'd have stayed at us, wage increase, sponcers, bonuses ect but im not sure he was gd enough in the end up. fair play if hes happy on what he done but he did do the dirty on us, no denying that

as for stokes, good goal scorer and id take him for his goals but if he does that * off the park that was in the papers a couple of months back....forget it.

 

Why would we want stokes? McDonald Samaras and Fortune are better than him?

A dont want a average Spl Players.

 

IMO stokes is as good if not better than Samaras (in terms of finishing) and Fortune...well..time will tell

 

Na. People want him cause he's on a bit of form. Not seen anything in him over the years up here and down in england that would excite me.

 

I don't know why this guy has acheived multiple threads of support on this forum.....oh, now I see it, it's cos he's Irish.....

 

All this speculation appears redundant, as itr appears he is in talks with Everton... and for wages about £30000 p.w, pricing us well out of the market.
