    According 2 the Sheff Untd official site Newcastle are fav's to sign him. It also states Newcastle are confident of getting their man.

    Hopefully not the case...

    Newcastle do look favourites to sign him. Plus they will certainly be playing back in the epl next season so they will jump to the top of the queue for his signature.

    Why is mogga even looking at this guy. He stated the reason he did not sign Chavez was because he had no cl experience. Excuse me if am wrong but this guy has none either.

    I'd go all out to get this guy, quality centre half, I've always rated him and wondered why he wasn't in the EPL far sooner actually.

    Championship isnt the way to go for a defender. Over-priced and over-rated players is all you cant get down there.

    Still think if we swap him for Mick & sell Caldwell, a good CB will end out being cheaper than 2 * ones - plus a bit of profit on Caldwell.

    Heard rumours that davie moyes is also interested in taking kilgallon and moyes knows his championship players cahill, jagielka, and the big centre half that went to city (had a brainfart and just cant remember the dudes name:rolleyes:) and is unlikely to take chances with just any old player so thats a positive sign regards kilgallon in my opinion

    what makes you think any championship team would swap a player of Kilgallon for Mick? No chance. Kilgallon is rated by many teams.

    Well that's the word in the papers mate, apparantly SUFC are up for it, cos they'll lose him for nowt anyway at end of season & have to push into a play off place without an experianced CB if they lose him.

    McManus would maybe do a job for them.

    Either ways I think he's not for coming to us, he's supposed to be on 25k with them.

    No need to be snidy about the board if you read the thread you would see that he isn't leaving Sheffield United until his contract expires in the summer and i think he is only leaving if they dont get promoted.
