He's free for everyone I believe, as he was not a product of Coventry's youth academy. Clubs receive compensation only if players, who played for them between certain ages leave the club at the end of their contracts. Ledley was raised by Cardiff.

 

He's free for everyone however English clubs cant approach him until a month before his Contract expires so we can in January and they can in May/June

 

Too be Honest Cervi played Better than Zaluska in preseason I don't know why he isnt given more of a chance Zaluska hasnt put in a good performance yet, he has been ok sometimes and made a great save now and then but thats all

We should keep an eye out in January in case Coventry will be looking to sell and maybe earn some money while they still can.

The play was stopped before the save though, so it was just a piece of useless showboating. Having said that...I wouldn't have put it past Higuita to try it, when it actually mattered as well.

I'd be happy with Westwood - good keeper now, lots of potential for the future.

If Forster is recalled in Jan, Westy should be our top priority.

 

I'd be happy to get him to be honest, great young keeper.

 

If we get him on a pre-contract and Forster has to go back to Newcastle then I am more than happy for Zaluska to play for the rest of the season until Westwood comes.
