Hope so but he's born and raised in England so chances are he's not a tim, found an Irish granny from somewhere so he could play for Ireland.

 

usually people who play on the ROI team have some knowledge of celtic, quite a few on the team are tims

im banking on him wanting european football, REALLY hope he comes, not just because hes quality but because we do need a few more british or irish players in the XI...

 

Am I right in saying we gantry sign him on a pre contract in jan as we are classed as a foreign club, but English clubs have to wait till his contract actually expires at the end of the season before they can sign him?

 

No english clubs can sign him up in January just the same as anyone else.

 

Are u sure? I remember reading about a new ruling where only foreign clubs can agree pre contract arrangements now. The example that springs to mind was morten gampst pederson. We were supposedly interested and it said in the rags we were in pole position cos we had 6 months to agree a contract before English clubs could try... I may be wrong! Sorry for going off topic a bit but it is relative to signing Westwood!

i remember reading a few months back the Coventry owner saying they wont be letting westwood leave on a free, we might have to come back with a sneaky bid in January.

 

Think we might have only signed Forster on loan because we're confident of getting Westwood next summer.

Forster on loan now. If he's good sign him up, then bring in Westwood aswell next season, we'll have 3 good keepers (Zaluska). Maybe move on big Cervi? Getting ahead of myself though.
