Why is he still an Arsenal player? Because he’s contracted to them for the next 6 months. It really is as simple as that. Why is he getting minutes? Zinchenko has played more minutes in the last 10 games than Tierney has… they’re trying to punt him too. Doesn’t really mean anything.

if he is due £3m in wages then surely arsenal spend 1.5m we spend 1.5m and everyone just gets on with it edit in fact if someone signed greg taylor and insisted we pay half of his remaining contract i would be inclined to tell them to do one.we may just have to pay up to get it done

Could be just riding out the last week of pay before a deadline day deal, we get our player, KT maximising his pay from Arsenal, we sort him for a sign on bonus and get him for the CL payoff rounds, everyone is happy.

Zinchenko will go because he has a large value. They’re not trying to punt KT, he’s ran his contract down and is available on a pre.

You’re doing some amount of mental gymnastics here.

Celtic are expected to approach Arsenal to discuss the conditions of a possible loan deal for Kieran Tierney this month.

As Sky Sports News revealed earlier this month, Celtic are close to agreeing pre-contract terms with Tierney for a permanent move in the summer. But the Hoops would like to have left-back return earlier for the Champions League knockouts, if they can do a deal with Arsenal.

The 27-year-old has been making substitute appearances for Arsenal recently since returning to full fitness, but the club have not triggered the one-year extension on his contract.

Arsenal have a decision to make before the transfer deadline, with fellow left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.

The emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly could allow for Tierney and Zinchenko to move in this window, with Ricardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber also able to cover that position.

If Celtic bring in Tierney this month, on-loan left back Alex Valle could return to Barcelona.

Sky Italy understands Como have an agreement with Barca to take Valle on loan, should Celtic agree to terminate his season-long deal

Seems like we were not as far down the line with KT as reported a few weeks ago.
