Would genuinely consider playing him at CB alongside CCV, would keep him away from picking up the extra injuries he could sustain running up and down the pitch at fullback, would put us back to square one in resolving LB though

I don't think I can remember the last time we signed a big player for us who had any real fitness/ injury concerns so hopefully any medical carried out will be stringent. There is an emotional pull to him returning and seem to be at an advanced stage. If we can get him signed early and in the set up what a boost it will give us.

Hopefully it’s a pay as you play deal, when he is fit he will be brilliant but not much good hence he is injured.

Do you want to pay him 40K a week to spend half the season watching him from the stands?
A great player but I think the body is *.

Hopefully be able to gdt ti's done and put into the next round for the champions league. Would give us so much balance at full back positions.

‘Pay as you play’ Bahahah… cause it won’t be 1978 forever.

He’s one of our best players of the 21st century so far, even probably one of the most talented Scottish players I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Give the boy the deal he deserves.

I'm no an accountant. I just know he's one of the best left backs in the world and bleeds green. If that means he only plays 50% of games, so be it. Better 50% Tierney than 100% taylors.

That's not true - he can only be registered if we make the Playoff.

Tierney isn't one of the best LB's in the world. I love the guy but that's exaggerated nonsense. There's loads better in England alone.

He's probably the best LB we could get though. We've not come close to replacing him, so I'd take him back in a heartbeat provided we have good cover (not Taylor).

Tbh don't give a * , we pay plenty players every season who do * all anyway. It's better getting spent on Tierney than paying tax on profits

They way we expect our FB's to play these days ie permanently attacking, don't worry about the defensive side of the game, means KT is an ideal fit. Especially as he knows the club already.

Definitely no the best but must've been in the top 20 or so in Europe at his best..

A fully fit Tierney wouldn't even be coming back in his 20's, nevermind a players peak years at 27....but we are where we are. It's the ONLY worry any of us have about this..

A 70% KT is still miles and miles better than Taylor in my opinion. Let's just hope we strike lucky as we're gonna need some of it..

That's your opinion. When he's in green n white running up that wing, there's no better anywhere. That's just full blown facts. If you disagree I'll post you my glasses. A nice tint of green but you'll see right again.

KT would not have hidden to take on the out ball that Scales was looking for at the first huns goal yesterday.

KT would have been braver to take the ball in his position as one of the fundamental things you need to do to play out of an aggressive high press is to make the pitch as wide as you can.
