Your first point mate, that's something you just have no idea on at all unless you work directly with him, his team ect..
I made the second comment in jest, again making the point that he again can't be compared to the player we had to the player that left. Injury or no, he's been playing at a massive upgrade in level on a weekly basis with better facilities, players, opposition.
And to go again, it doesn't matter about his past ffs, it's what he can bring to us going forward I couldn't care less if he broke a leg twice over and needed 1 year out, if he can keep his fitness then bring him back up the road. End of the day if he's out for say 1 month the we have cover and don't need to worry as we're playing dross 90% of the time. But when he's available for matches he walks Into that team. Again, I'm sure our staff will know how to manage him, rather having folk * there pants about what ifs.
This will be the mindset of the backroom team here, they know about him and his injuries and if it's to be believed we're keen then Celtic clearly think there is more positives than negatives.
You mention of wages, to us 25k. We're literally sitting on a pile of cash. It's a huge amount, your going on as if we're skint and need to count the beans. It's peanuts considering his stature, and not to mention we gutted the wage bill In the summer by getting * out the door so those wages pretty much cover his salary by logic.
But happy to spend money on Valle who we know very little about and has already made his intention clear about wanting to go back.
So you want to spend whatever it is on a player, who has played a handful of games in total from the start, is getting kept out a team by Taylor most weeks and in important matches I may add. And also pay I assume would be min 10k at least who we know again. will no doubt if he came, would leave in a season or 2 for a move elsewhere anyway.
Over a boy who would take a pay cut to come here, be the number one option long term, who is in there prime years, played in higher calibre matches In the Epl and la liga, a regular for there national team and won countless trophies way us. But you would turn your nose up at that for a pretty much unknown player, who has yet to even lace KT boots or even Taylors for that matter tbh.
Gee yer head a wobble man and stop the bed wetting.
This ain't football manager. It's real, a player like that turns up on a FREE, you bite the hand off and take it immediately warts and all.
I say again, injuries mean nothing in the grand scheme if you factor in everything. Didn't do us harm way Craig Gordon, or John Garston as I stated earlier. Nor did it do us any harm with the King after his double leg break in Lyon.

Thought he looked good recently when Arsenal played palace … put an unreal whipped cross in for Sterling.

As someone said earlier, we don’t need him to play every game … if we can rotate him with another LB I would be all for it. Ability wise I don’t think we’re attracting that calibre of player without breaking our transfer record.

    It's a difficult one.

We had problems before making sure we had cover for him. If anything his injury problems have got slightly worse since he's been away.

He'll be targeted domestically, I don't doubt it. Imagine what the huns would do to him. He'd have been off after 20mins on Sunday, out for weeks cause one of them has hacked him down.

I think we'd be better off looking at someone more solid.

But I'd love to see him back holding that megaphone & singing his heart out again.

    Tough call.

He's no shrinking violet, and the huns should be more worried what he would do to them. He's no the type to take a doing on the park.

I know. One cross or a through ball and it could destroy them.

    Like I said, it's a tough one.
