Good luck to KT. Timing was right for him and what an opportunity. Sad to see him leave but from a Scotland perspective I hope he improves as much as Andy Robertson has. I think it’s crazy that people question his love for the club, hope to see him back one day

    That guy was ‘bitter +’
He didn’t need any encouragement to launch into it...

Said that BR basically talked KT into not renewing with him and lured him to his own agent with the promise of the riches of EPL football.

Looks like it worked... and I agree .. the supposed compo for BR is starting to look seriously outweighed by the structural damage he left behind at the club.

I get what you're saying but it's irrelevant now. Both wanted their sliver of the EPL cash and we now have £34 million in fees and over £70k per week savings in salaries to reinvest back into football club for people that see their future at Celtic.

    This.

Neither have anything to do with Celtic now, so theoretically neither should be given a * about.

As long as the board, manager and scouting department do their bit to strengthen the team with the gains from these two, then fine.

I'd like to take that last bit back, was just gutted and being childish.

The guy gave us his absolute all for Celtic and I hope (and know) he'll be a success down there.

Its actually incredible how some people are questioning his love for the club. Comparing him to 'real celtic men' who have never had an offer half as attractive to even consider.

Can also guarantee no * questioning his credentials was at Dens park either when he collapsed to the floor in pain after having to push for a winner till the 95th minute with a double hernia.

He's hardly the only player to ever do that is he? Rieper, McStay, Nakamura, Brown, Lustig (laughably questioned about his professionalism feigning injury).

Noone should be questioning he has a deep affection for Celtic, as is the same with Rodgers regardless of what people think.

For me I'm disappointed in both their decisions and see no difference personally.

Selfishly I hope KT does well and earns us more money, I personally couldn't give a * what he or BR (especially as no sellon there) achieve though as it doesn't interest me, and neither does their careers now. I'll support them if they ever return, although hope Lenny is leading us to 20 in a row.

SCOTT BROWN believes Celtic fans should celebrate Kieran Tierney’s ‘fairytale’ move to Arsenal.

The former Hoops defender joined the Gunners last week in a record-breaking £25million deal.

And Brown referred to Ajax fans who came out in their numbers to give Frankie de Jong a warm send-off before his move to Barcelona.

The Celtic captain said: ““It should be a fairytale story.

You look at Ajax and other teams like that, when they sell players that came through the youth academy and gave so much to the club they have a big massive party in the street and the fans come out and celebrate”.

Tierney’s move did not go down well with a section of the Hoops support who were furious at his exit as Neil Lennon’s men aim for Ten-in-a-Row.

And the 22-year-old admitted it was ‘heartbreaking’ that he would never have the same relationship with the fans who once adored him.

In a farewell message he said: “Where can I start with the fans? I tried my best to represent you every time I went onto that pitch.

“The relationship we had together and the memories we created and history we made was incredible.. I will cherish every single second of it

I hope we can continue to have a relationship although I understand that will be never for some people which is heartbreaking for me but I understand the emotions surrounding this situation.

“It has been the hardest day or two of my life and I really appreciate every single message of support from you all.”

I respect your view (and Broony's); but neither of them make any emotional sense to me.

I see it a bit like a love affair. If my partner leaves me on good terms and without cheating on me, because with all due respect they prefer to be with someone else, I can neither lump them in the "means nothing to me anymore" basket with the cheating * that was * the personal trainer for 3 months before I came home one February day to find all our stuff gone, nor would I ever have a party and celebrate.

I respect their right to make the decision, hope we remain friends, wish them all the best... and feel very, very sad and disappointed.

No other response makes any emotional sense to me.

Most fans are * off because we’ve put this 10IAR on a pedestal, and rightly so, but the harsh truth is that the footballing world doesn’t see it as a massive achievement. They see it as us lacking competition. And it hurts more to know that one of our own, a born and bread Tim from the academy with such adulation from the fans has left us before we conquer it. It leaves us feeling insecure. Fraudgers left and it had the same impact, obviously to a much lesser extent.

The thing I don’t really get with our fans is that, we say Sevco are dead and irrelevant, but we want this 10IAR so bad and the main reason for a lot of fans is to get one over them. So which one is it? I’m not saying I don’t want this too because I do. But people need to get real. Our best prospects will always leave us because of the league we play in. Simple as that

Sevco have not won an SPL title, as Sevco, as we all know, but the * still pretend they are the old club hence the run for 55 and stopping us winning 10 IAR.

I mean I don't get how Broony thinks we should celebrate it and (without meaning any disrespect), I don't get how it's possible to just not care anymore, like with that * Rodgers. It makes no emotional sense to me.

You know by now analogies are not my strong point (though I won't get any better by not trying).

It’s not crazy at all, if you force a move on the verge of becoming a legend and making history with the club you profess to love then people will question it.
