Statistics don’t tell you everything unless you set parameters, then you can make the figures say what you want.
Efe was, & remains black.
So out of the non black ones KT will be missed more. So take Efe out of the mix or leave him in & exclude him using similar rules.meaning KT is the best.

I see what your saying mate, but if you ascertained proximity from the personification of redundant axioms, presupposed upon tautological repetitions when it comes to Efe & Tierney, and enhanced our paradoxical paradigms via redundant innovations, you’ll see where I’m coming from with my post.

The Club are totally justified in what they say in that statement because the reality is KT wanted the move and therefore he has forced this move, simple as that. The only problem is some folk seem to be refusing to accept this, or worse, they are trying to blame someone else for KT's choice, that is disrespectful to KT tbh.

While we could have done as you say - refuse to sell and hold him to his contract that would have then meant we had an unhappy player in the dressing room - does anyone really want that ? PLUS the Club would have had to go back on an agreement that was made when KT signed his new contract extension over a year ago.

As a heads up Cal-Mac will probably be the next in January, sadly.

Clause/Agreement/promise boils down to the same thing mate was a case of make it or no contract extension signed so what do you do. For the amount (25m) look at it this way - A club will want to stipulate as high a figure as possible but the player/adviser will want as low a figure as possible, so the 2 parties will have had to argue that one out.

I can mind at the time of Dembele's transfer talking to a mate about the 'ceiling' on pretty much any player coming directly from Scotland and we kinda agreed 30 million would be some going. To get that we both agreed we would probably also need everything to be in our favour - ie a KT type love of the club/be on a long term contract/not prepared to publicly (anyway) seek a move, all these things we thought would need to happen to help us. So if that was transferred to a Scottish equivalent of Dembele for example we may have received more than 30 million PLUS we also both thought we would need 2 clubs, or more, competing for the player. Hopefully this makes sense. Basically we needed the perfect, selling, storm.
