I hope he never leaves... but wouldn’t grudge him if he moved after the 10, for football reasons..

Money talks, and that doesn't have to work against us. If in a year or two's time somebody like Man United are offering him £50,000 a week, match it. It's not making a dent in our finances, especially if we keep making CL. He improves us massively as a team and him just being here massively helps fan morale. We can't compete with Europe's rich clubs when it comes to a lot of players and transfers, but when it comes to Tierney's contract, shouldn't we absolutely go all out if necessary?

If KT leaves us it won't be because of money it will be a footballing decision.. we will absolutely give him what he wants financially..

Except the current Premier League average is about £70k, so "somebody like Man United" would be offering him £120k plus, and I'm not sure we could match that.

I can see KT moving for footballing reasons, wanting to play in a team capable of winning the Champions League, and to test himself in one of the top European Leagues; but you never know, he might just want to be his generation's Danny McGrain and stay forever. I wouldn't begrudge him either way.

Atletico Madrid will send representatives to the Scottish Cup final to have a gander at oor KT. How the * did they get tickets I've been trying for donkeys.

I think KT will do a Larsson - give us his best years and then move down south age 29 ish

The average Premiership wage isn’t 70k a week.

Regardless, I don’t know how more regularly or strongly KT could state he loves his Club and doesn’t want to leave.

I don't imagine him being some who would ever want to leave and he is clearly a did hard Celtic fan but if someone offers him 100k+ per week and the opportunity of winning the champions league, how can you really turn that down?

Same way Henrik did for years, except he wasn’t born a Celtic fan.

Im quite sure at the time he was one of the best paid players in Britain and we were very competitive back then, or we'll a lot more competitive than we are now in the league and in Europe

The reason Henrik stayed was for the adulation and to repay the loyalty shown to him by the Club, he could have earned more and had the chance to do more in Europe long before he eventually did.

I see no reason to believe KT isn’t in the same sort of boat given who he is and his outlook towards football and Celtic.
