Molde are 6th in the Norwegian league. They're no Barca.

Ok so how can you be happy when he shows a total lack of willingness to change? Some of his decisions have been incredible yet people for some reason defend him cos we'll go and beat someone like ross county after yet another embarrassing european defeat.

Indeed, but we made them look like it.

I repeat again, they have a 40 year old in midfield.

We were shipping goals last season aswell even with denayer and Van dijk, 11 goals conceded which was rediculious considering we had both of them.

He is almost too old to be playing 5s, and he is scoring against us.

Last time we got bossed like that off a 40 year old at least it was Paolo Maldini.

A 40 year old Maldini could have took on that full Celtic team last night himself, and still won.

No one said it was acceptable but people are making out we've been beaten twice by a shower of duds. There other results are testament to the fact they are a good, streetwise, side.

Again, who said they were Barca? :97:

    Who said I was happy?

You did. You said you were happy with the way the team were progressing even though which doesn't quite make sense since you don't agree with the team's tactics, we have gotten far worse since last season and that team wasn't even good. Knocked out of europe 3 times last season and knocked out by a pub team this year how can you even have the brass neck to suggest he is capable of doing a good job here?

You are making things up to suit your argument now.

I'm not happy with our performances in Europe and I'm not happy with our tactics or our naivety, or some of the players we have playing for us.

That is a completely separate thing from not wanting the Manager sacked.

We have been beaten twice by a shower of duds. Fenerbache did as well. Ajax drew with them.

Full fact is this group is full of pish teams, Molde are the only one with a bit of managerial sense. Over two managers. They've done well but there defending was * shocking, just not as shocking as ours.

Streetwise is a good word for them, what are we?

Their defending has been that shocking they've qualified as 4th seeds from a Group of so called big names with 2 games remaining.

They are most certainly not a shower of duds as you are suggesting.

This thread is about Kieran Tierney. Let's not drag it off topic about tactics and formations. There are threads for detailed discussion of general team matters.

'So called' is the key part to that statement.

Did you think they were good defensively?

They've been better as a group than Celtic, Ajax and Fenerbahce over 4 matches so I would say they were as good as they needed to be.

I've no interest in reading anything in the Celtic Chat section for at least a month but i just wanted to say he was the only good thing about last night. My initial assessment, somewhere on this thread, suggested he would never make it. With the way he played last night, and with Mulgrew's continuing injuries and Izzy's form dip, he has every chance.

So, i admit, basing my view that he'd never make it on seeing him play in 2 games was wrong. Valuable lesson learned.

Now back to the happy land of the pub section.
