Glad to hear he played. Him and Simu getting a run of games and Lustig and Boyata we could maybe have a solid back 4. Could be the difference betweenn qualifying for the last 32.

I'd start him midweek, rest him against Aberdeen so he'll be fit to face Molde.

Fantastic today and thoroughly deserved the MOTM award. Should be our first choice left back.

Hasn't done anything near enough to be considered our first choice left back.

He played well and has plenty potential. Still miles to go.

It should be his place to lose just now though.

He's 18 I'd play him all 3 games, get him used to the high tempo and get his fitness up with the rest of the team.

Reminds me of Andrew Robertson, although as said, still a long way to go to hold down a first team spot. He can only do that by playing games though, and I wouldn't be shy in starting him in the next few games.

I'd start him midweek, no worries.

“I have never heard of such a young player being asked to play three games in five days. I don’t know who I need to speak to about this but people from the club will be contacting the FA because this is not OK."

Jurgen Klopp on Jordan Rossiter (18) playing 3 games in 5 days for an England youth team. If Tierney plays midweek and at the weekend that'd be 3 games in 6 days. If he then plays against Molde it would be 4 games in 11 days. We don;t want to burn the guy out. I'd rest him against Aberdeen.

I don't think it'll be seen like that but it's clear he will get his opportunities.

He's proved he can be relied on now anyway.

It all depends how quickly he recovers for a midweek game, as by all accounts he was out on his feet and almost cramping up (understandably) at the end..

What today will do for his confidence though and to get Motm, he must be absolutely buzzing and if he's good to go again, it would be mad to drop him out in this mood..

There's absolutely no chance Izzy deserves to be the first choice left full at the moment. No chance.

3 games in 6 days is a lot, even for an 18 year old. One of the benefits of having two capable full backs now.

The way I see it, Tierney should play Wednesday and then be rested on the weekend for the following Thursday against Molde.

Bit early for that, he's 18, he'll go through rough patches.
