Think we should sell him for a few million in the Summer and put the money towards a team capable of reaching the CL group stages.

Fear of injuring a fellow sportsman. He knows he might harm him irrepairably.

He's not the greatest tackler and goes in for some really rash tackles but I think his lack of tackling ability is exagerated tbh. He has a problem tracking his man though and often lets a player slip away. I don't think is laziness either, it's just something he really needs to work on.

He's rated by the management, he's rated as one of the best prospects in his country and I still think we've got a very useful player on our hands.

Maybe he'd benefit if he had a role with more freedom. He could be good in a five man midfield in Europe possibly, or even in the free role Commons got against Rangers. However he is used, he's a useful player to have because he can certainly chip in with goals and assists.

This is still the same Ki that bossed Rangers when we were down to 10 men.

If he has a good bit of form for a couple of games, he'll be the best thing since sliced bread. It's true what they say, football supporters are fickle.

There has been some that haven't fancied him from that start though, admittedly.

With all due respect, I think this is absolute rubbish.

Question to the Ki critics. Imagine you're NL. You tell Ki he has to tackle and fight in games with no hesitancy. Or else he's punted. In a game against some club you do not dislike(vs. Rangers or Hearts the reaction might be different), Ki, obeying the order, goes in for a sliding tackle, to prevent a player from controlling the ball. He mistimes though. The player's ankle snaps. Your reaction?

These thing happens. However he rates his tackling ability, he knows he can't shy out of tackles.

Supporters and management won't have it.

    You're having a laugh surely?

Mate, he is a professional footballer who is * at tackling - not the Asian version of Johnny Depp aka Edward Scissorlegs :56::56::56:

You would not carry a footballer's career on your conscience, if you crippled him with a tackle? And, your reply might work if it happened only once. What if Ki did it again, with another mistimed tackle?

No. It's realistic. Mistimed tackle hits hard on a particular spot, and a grave injury happens. Ki caused it, because of explicit orders to contribute more to defense as much as possible. Your reaction?

He should'nt need to be instructed by any Manager in the first place to put a tackle in ,any kind of tackle ,again its a contact sport and things happen ,broken ankle -if no malice was in the tackle so be it ,it happens.

Like I said before maybe Ki is in the wrong sport. I used to say the same about Evander Sno, and I was right there.

I am genuinely struggling to understand where you adopted this notion that Ki's tackles are worse than being hit by a train

You said he is Scared ,I said he is in the wrong job if he is scared ,Is he good with Computers or something because if he can't hack putting in a tackle of any kind ,he is in the wrong job.

So far, no grave injuries were caused. But do you really think it would be impossible for one tackle to go horribly wrong?

Fair enough. If you insist on him just giving his best, no matter what, then your attitude is clear to me. I hope Ki loses the fear, because his contribution would increase, and you would be satisfied.

Of course it isn't outwith the realms of possibility - but does that mean that tackling should be made illegal within the sport then....you know, just in case Ki gets a bit over-excited?

Only in Scotland could we judge a player by his tackling. Ki has great abilty and is a good footballer. Its up to the management to find a formation/position that suits him. If they cant do that then maybe its better we do let him go so maybe he can flourish elsewhere. I could name you a thousand players who couldnt tackle a fish supper but it doesnt mean they are not good players. Tackling isnt his strength so why does everybody seem to want to pick up on this? Didnt see Nakamura or Lubo putting in many great challenges but didnt hear many mention how poor they were at tackling.
