I actually can stand reading some of these comments on ki. I think hes terrible. Constantly getting caught out of position. Slow. * it out of tackles. Easily pushed of the ball. When he plays ledley is played left wing where his grafting is just totally out of the game. All this passing pish as well. He makes a pass here an there and people applaud him and call him a playmaker and all sorts. Imo hes utter pish. I cant stand seeing him on the park. Never have i been so against seeing a player get a game for the hoops. For him to take the place of the likes of wanyama or ledley is ridiculous. I would punt him asap hes no use to any team the spl.

What I find interesting is that some people say Ki was playing really well around November/December time last season and that he was playing really well at the start of this season too.

Celtic's results were really poor in November/December 2010 and they were just as poor in August and October of this season.

So it would seem that when Ki gets a run in the team and is 'playing well' the overall team performance suffers. You can't blame those results solely on Ki but the results are there in black and white. Interpret them as you will.

Our midfield was at it's best in the second half of last season, coincidentally it all began to come good when Ki went off to play in Asia and dropped out of the team.

Well I say coincidentally, but I don't think it was a coincidence at all. We are a less effective team when Ki is in the starting line-up.

What i wanted too say but cant quite word it so elegantly. Ki totally takes the bite out of midfield. And i think he doesnt carry his work load compared to other midfielders

I have to agree with this.

Again I would have to agree with all of this.

I was never a great fan of Nakamura either for some of the accusations already levelled at Ki, however I think Nakumura overall brought more to our game than Ki has done lately, and there is no doubt in my mind our results suffer when Ki is in central midfield ( the two Cup losses recently could be attributed to that), and the other central midfielder has to do the work of two to cover for Ki, and it was noticeable to me that when Ki came on in the 56th minute against Kilmarnock our pressing game suffered, and Killie got the upper hand in midfield against us, it was even worse in the Heart's game when Ki started, as Hearts dictated midfield from start to finish in my opinion, and we made it too easy for them.

Maybe Ki is just not cut out for football, as I think he struggles in the basic tenets and techniques of the game, and his mindset seems to be somewhere else.

Very harsh Markeybhoy, Ki was playing well when our team was crippled with injury forthe two examples you picked out there.

I can see where you are coming from, and I agree with you. personally I wouldn't be against a Bobo Balde in our defense, because I think a Bobo is exactly what we need in the spine of our defense. What we do have is a very exciting and excellent Dylan McGeough in our squad, who is champing at the bit to be played, and as I have already said before, I would have played Dylan in the Rangers. Kilmarnock and Hearts games ( and I said so in my pre match selections ), and who knows maybe all three results would have been more positive for us, as I think Dylan is the perfect attacking midfielder we lack at the moment, with his direct and powerful runs at opposing defenses. But what do I know, I am just a punter.

I am sorry but you are wrong, especially about europe, the whole team was poor against Sion but in the first leg Ki was our best player, and in the second leg kayal and ledley who were playing alongside him were woeful, but yet again ki is the scapegoat, Ki is one of our most talented players but since he is not typical of the scottish game he also our most slated, and unfairly so

Agree 100%. We had a terrible spell @ this time and were conceding late goals to Utd/ Inverness etc. It was also when Ki left for the Asian Cup and Kayal came in to partner Ledley that our season kicked off. Will be harsh to lay the blame solely at Ki's door, but it is no coincidence that when he, and Cha, left our form lifted.

Though you have just said that!

I really dont know where you see this in ki mate. Whatever it is lennons sees it too and it drives me up the wall. The entire midfield suffers when ki is playing. Whoever plays alongside him has a bad game because they end up covering for him and tryin to do too much. Ledley plays in kis position and never stops running and pressuring. Ki rarely makes a tackle or one of those amazing passes i hear so much about but he has to make way for lennys favourite ki to fit in. I feel players get frustrated playing alongside him i certainly would. He is so frustrating to watch its kills me his movement and laziness boils my blood. He is so incredibly overrated by some people i think there is just one massive glasgow wide wind up everyone is playing on me. He is *. An empty jersey. Waste of a place in the bench even.

Ledley plays everygame,he never makes way and him and brown are OBVIOUSLY favourites of Lenny, not Ki

Has to make way in the middle for ki. Ledley playing left wing where i think he is just wasted and has no real impact hes a ghost on the wing.Ledley has great stamina and pressures the ball and can make great tackles really helps us get a grip of the midfield. Ki on the other hand.. Can do none of this. Cant tackle cant track back and is just utterly useless imo. Making daft 5-6 yard passes and wen the ball is by him he thinks job done and contributes * all else to the game. Ledley should always be in the middle commons or even sammy on the left. To have ki in the midfield raises everyone around hims workrate. It just * me off i cant take my eye off his off ball movement. Its so lazy.

Ki does my * in too mate as I know every time he comes into the team we are going to struggle big time and more than likely drop points, as we invariably do when he is playing, and like you I hate to see Ki on the bench too, because I know it will all go * up when he comes on, empty shirt like you say, call it as you see it, and I don't know what the Ki world beaters see in him, as Ki wouldn't get a game for Rangers or Hearts, so why is he playing for us ? I wouldn't have Ki in my street team.

Maybe Ki is Peter Lawwell's blue eyed boy so as to sell jerseys in the Far East, and Lennon feels obliged to play him, but * knows what they all see in him.

Ki has been on the bench the majority of the past 6 months.....how exactly does he make way in the middle for Ki?

only recently when we've played 3 CM's, in a sort of 4-3-1-2 has Ki started...

Dont think im putin my point across well mate i mean whenever ki comes on and ledleys is still on the park he will be playing left wing. When ki plays ledley is moved across to left wing.

An ki hasnt played in six months. All of a sudden cup final semi final potential title clincher at ibrox... Just not on. Lennon is so desperate to see him do well as if its his son. There are better players in the team but he ll play his boy anyway. Thats how i see it and its annoys the * out of me. Favouritism that is not good for the team.

I cant understand all the negativity about Ki,he is without doubt our best footballing midfielder. He is the most comfortable on the ball, can make the passes into space for the forwards, and has the ability to shoot from distance with either foot which he has done for the team in the big games contrary to what others might say

Hasnt started in six months. Hes not good enough. But he gets to play in the semi final and the cup final and the big title Clincher that the rest of the team earned. I know if i was in the team i wouldnt be happy seein him take my place or anyone elses.
