    Not everyone :celt_2:

    Have never really liked him in a Celtic jersey. Given credit when it's due right enough, but have never ever thought he was the best thing since sliced bread like some seem to.

    Of all our players that could/would command over £5 + million in the transfer market, Ki Sung-Yueng is the guy I wouldn't really miss.

    Wonderful talent, no question ... but, I sincerely believe he's expendable.

    Still, he was due that credit quite consistently over a few periods. I don't quite know if he's got consistency issues or if it's due to him playing slightly out of position because his best position is definitely sitting deeper than he currently is. Some of his good performances have been against the best quality this league have to offer, when we were down to 10 against the huns for example.

    I know that was one game but his quality was clear to see and has been against some European sides as well. He's not been at his best recently but hopefully he'll regain his better form soon because he's quality on the ball. He'll be a star one day, whether it's here or elsewhere.

    I get the feeling it would be elsewhere if some had their way though.

    He was due that credit indeed, just as he's due the criticism which he has been receiving recently.

    Personally don't think he will ever fulfill his potential at Celtic, he's just not suited to us IMO.

    Our play improved when Ki came on, kept the ball so much better. Less balls smashed up too Stokes and Hooper.

    He improved our game by a lot when he came on, we took control in the modfield when he came on. Unlucky with an absolute bomb of a shot as well.

    Definitely improved us. There was a guy in the middle who could actually pass the ball and keep possession instead of panicking and passing it back to Mulgrew for him to attempt the Hollywood ball.

    He got us playing football when he came on, something a midfield pairing of wanyama and Brown was always unlikely to do.

    Should have played from the start on the big pitch.

    He should be ripping them from far out regularly.

    ..I had to see the dictionary for the word "whack" :52:^^;;
    and now, I think I understand what it means, and I think it's a very perfect word to use :-D

    We actually gave a nickname for his powerful shot in my country, but it's a shame that I can't translate it perfectly. lol..quite a funny nickname, though. ^^;;

    I noticed that he gets shut down very, very quickly whenever he is near goal now after he scored a few crackers at the start of the season.

    One of the reasons I like him sitting deeper, opens up more often for him.

    Teams fear him. If he gets a shot in, it will be hard, fast and on target. Not what goalkeepers like. He is also consistent with direct free kicks. They hit the target regularly. However, the goalkeepers save them somehow. Stokes either misses completely or scores.
