Thought he was one of the few that stood-out.

He is definitely " Lightweight when the tackles fly ", for his size he is rather disappointing to say the least. Pound for pound against Kayal, Wanyama and Ledley in the tackle he would come a very poor fourth, yes he has good passing ability, but 6"2" you expect him to foot in with a bit more conviction than he currently shows.

Equally, his passing range is far better - no doubt in my mind about that. Better shooting also (and the goals back that up - he's our best scoring CM)

Thought he done well today, the kind of performance that goes unnoticed because he was deployed so deep. His accuracy and ball retention is incredible. Always picks passes that you aren't aware are even on.

Very true, also considering ledley was largely anonymous before his head knock, Ki was the main man in midfield along with paddy.

    Agree.

I'm going bet to Ki to score at anytime for our next 10 games. He is our biggest Goal Threat from outside the box bar maybe Commons (When on form) and due to the fact teams play such a deep line against us I think he could get close to double figures now that Kayal is out for 4 months.

aye, but ki isnt in the team to make tackles. nobody expects tackles from ki. he is a better passer and finisher than our 4 other CMs, and thats what he is in the team to do.

I thought Ki had a much better game today.

I've said previously I don't think he's been the same since his illness but I think he showed today he's getting back on form.

Ki will try to tackle, but his tackles are dangerous, and result in cards. That's the problem.
For the future, whenever he is not taking set pieces, he should offer himself for a pass and long range crack, like he did today when he ripped the crossbar up.

He was unlucky not to score with his crossbar effort today. I, personally, think he drifts in and out of games too much, but on his day, he can be one of the best players on the park, regardless of the opposition.

His best game to date was definitely the Cup Final against Motherwell back in May.

Outside of Scott Brown I think Ki won the most tackles for us today.

I'm a fan of Ki but Montolivo is a far better player. He's one of my favourite CMs in world football.

thought Ki was terrible today and don't know why he started, he hasn't shown anything off the bench recently. I know he has ability and usually when played in a packed midfield he does alright but not today.
