£6m is a decent offer but I'd hold out for £7m, although I can't see him wanting to go to Russia. Only the board will know how much he is worth to our market in Asia though I suppose. In terms of playing ability he doesn't do it for me, although I can see glimpses of a good player in him.

£8m and sell. As said before, Peter knows what he's doing and if they really want him, another £2m isn't a big thing to ask for. It will help us a lot though, being stuck in such a small league.

    So true.

I know it's closer to South Korea, but ... really?

I'm not convinced this is the path he'll want.

But, if he does get sold for £6-7 million ...

What then? Who would you lot like to see come in as the first big signing of the off-season?

I'm excited! My Blue Jays are tanking, I don't really care about Euro 2012 ... I just want Celtic's new season to begin so badly!

We'll sell him for 9mill plus add ons I reckon, and big * add ons, and he'll go to England or Italy not Russia.
More good business by the board :50:

Doubt we'll get 9Mill for him to be honest.

6mil+ for Ki and keeping big Victor would be good business, but flip side, getting 12mil total for them both and still having Brown and Kayal as 1st choice Midfield partners wouldnt break my heart either, specially with that brand new team on the brink!

Oh and hello again after many years of inactivity, getting a bird and a broken laptop at the same time doesnt mix!

Arguably our most saleable asset at the moment, but I'd rather we held onto him, we've already got fringe players shipping out so the squads slimmed down a bit and we're certainly not in a position where we need to sell anyone, so unless it's for proper big money, like closer to 10mil rather than the 6 quoted I'd much rather he stayed.

Quality player to have in the team, he made a solid contribution last season even if he wasn't always first pick, having so many players of this standard competing for our midfield is no bad thing.

Really can't believe some of the pelters he's been taking recently, he the new Sammy or what?

I have never rated Ki when he arrived here.

He doesn't bring something special to our side only completes passes and holds up play. He has been accounted for a few goals in the pass especially in Europe against Sion when he gave it away which was disappointing.

Celtic however rejecting 6 mill for the guy is disappointing I think hes worth around 2 million myself. If the board are waiting for a higher bid I hope they grab the hand of them as its a steal.

I understand where your coming from 6m is a good price I would think. But obviously Lawwell believes he can get more and I suspect now that this bid is very public we will see Ki leave this summer but it will be for more then 6m and if that turns out to be the case then that would be a very good piece of business for Celtic.

If Ki was already playing in an english league he would be worth a lot more.

But because he is in the spl clubs think they can get players on the cheap.

If they really want him they will come back in for him and pay what hes valued at by our board.

Seems Korean fans don't like the truth, that's a shame.

    To their opinion;

Hopefully you're right but if we play too much hardball I could see him staying, not signing a new deal, and leaving for much less next summer.
