    Seem reasonable to me.

Pubs here are pricey but have to be to keep afloat. There's a reason why 10 pubs on average close a week.

Personally it drives me insane having to listen to people whinge about the price of alcohol when out.

£3.80 a pint for a stadium bar is really rather good. It's not like it's the Gallowgate we're talking about here.

There are times moaning is well justified, anything over £4.50 a pint no matter where you are is starting to take the *. No need to be charging those sorts of prices.

I'd disagree. It's a free market, why should prices reflect what people want to pay?

The pub nearest to me charges £5.20 I believe. The rent will be astronomical so this reflects in the price for a drink.

If people don't want to pay that then they don't have to drink there.

Celtic will make a bomb from this, people will go to it regardless of the prices which aren't THAT bad anyway

In your example you have the choice to go to that pub or not. I'm talking about places were there is a captive audience e.g. a festival, a hotel on a works night out etc etc. You either pay what they want to charge or you don't drink.

In simple economics prices always reflect what people want to pay, it just to happens that alcohol being a drug and addictive is price inelastic. The prices will continue to go up and the public will continue to pay for it.

Not in Glasgow. Even in the west end you will find places much cheaper than 3.80 a pint.

Yes you also have the choice to drink or not to drink at the event. Whinging about alcohol prices is pathetic.

If you can't afford it, don't.

What if you can afford it but just grudge paying over the odds knowing the mark ups are ridiculous?

Same as anything you have the right to moan within reason be it; booze, petrol, pornographic sites.

£3.80 is decent for a pint inside the ground. As others have mentioned you can easily pay £5+ in gigs etc for a pint.

What stands can you get to the bar from?

Bit pricey. That said I'm sure I'll pop in a few times throughout the Season.

Thought it would have been more if I'm being honest.

How much does a capri sun cost inside the stadium?

Not where I've been recently. Usually about £3.50-£4.00

Also depends on what you drink
