Jazz, Kim: switch on your Irony-omoters, and Sarcasmaphones!

..and Jazz, seriously, get that keyboard looked about, you've got some wierd Stephen Hawkingesque/Dalek lovechild thing going on and it especially freaked me out to imagine the word "peadophile" said in that voice!

A paedophile and a small child are walking through the woods late at night. The child says "I'm scared" and the paedophile says "How do you think I feel, I've got to walk home alone."

I agree. I still think he could score loads if he got is confidence back. He would thrive on quick balls into space behind defenders but our build up is often very slow and that does not suit him. He is not perfect but he is a very good player by SPL standards. We saw what he could be for a few golden weeks and he was awesome against our toughest opponents, not to mention his international level record. Give him another season. I just have this bad feeling he could go somewhere else and shine and we would regret it. I think the team usually looks better when he plays.

I agree that it would be a pity to see Kenny go without fulfilling his potential.
For all his comedy value as a striker, I still feel he has a lot to offer Celtic.
I'm not too sure if he can play in a 4-4-2, he's either up front on his own (a la Scotland) or part of a 4-3-3 with Riorden & JVoH - I will eventually bore myself with this suggestion :87: but I'd love to see WGS try a 4-4-3.
I think Kenny & Riorden would really shine.

    ----------Boruc
    ----Caldwell--McManus
    Wilson--------------Naylor

    ----------Lenny
    ------Naka---Graveson

    Miller---------------Riorden
    ---------JVoH

I just wish that WGS would experiment a bit more with us being so far in front of SPL. We're scraping boring 1-0 wins at home against SPL teams, I believe that a wee shake up of the formation from time to time, would do wonders.
But WGS obviously knows his stuff & maybe I'm a wee bit spoiled with 19 points clear, just seems a good chance to fart about..:84: :56:

I believe WGS is right to go with 4-4-2...and our massive 19 point
    lead shows that..:56:

I wouldn't want the 4-3-3...don't think it suits our way of play..:87:

I still believe WGS will deploy a 4-5-1 formation against Milan....

they still are a formidable team, as their probable line up suggests..

We got mauled by Man United when we played 4-4-2 in the first half

at Parkhead....and then when WGS changed to 4-5-1 in the second

half, ...... we got the upper hand..:50:

I know we're 19 points clear, I don't know how else to get the best out of Kenny Miller though as I don't think he can play well in a 4-4-2 & JVoH is our man in a 4-5-1.

    Being 19 points clear I'd play the under 15's :56: :56: in a 4-2-4 ...
Just before I got sacked & told never to darken football management again...:54:

I don't believe for a second that WGS will have Miller in our starting line up
    against Milan..:87:

C'Mon mate, after all your talk about the twins - your ideas on what WGS will do don't have much relevance.

Kenny Miller has goals in the CL, he's got International experiance & Beattie has none.

Miller has the speed & endurance, that the permantly Beattie does not.

You also say that Lennon shouldn't start, C'mon mate it's horses for courses & in the most important game of the season, I believe that WGS will go for experiance to start with, maybe Beattie, Sno or Riorden will come on at some point, but I think WGS has learned his lesson with Sno against ManUre - got hooked at halftime as a waste of space.

This time he'll start with experiance, as it's knock out time, no time for mistakes to be rectified.

This has nothing to do with the Twins...that's History now..:87:

I repeat...my Gut Feeling is...we will get our * felt by Milan if we go Gung Ho against them....something I believe the Wee Ginger Magician
    realises too..:celt_2:

I have revised my line up for the Milan game on many factors over the past few months...my starting line up for this crucial game is now

    4-5-1

    Boruc

Wilson MacManus Caldwell ( If Fit ) Naylor

    Lennon Sno Graveson Nakamura Riordan

    Jehovah

The system can be altered at half time, depending on how the game is panning out for us...:shamrock:

I believe the above team gives us the most realistic opportunity of getting a result against the Italians on Tuesday week..:50:

Looks like we need to agree to disagree mate & let time tell.

I really don't think that Sno has proven himself to be better than when WGS hooked him at half time against ManUre cos he was * shatting himself.
For the same reasons I don't think that Riorden will start, cos he has no experiance at this level.
    I think we'll go 4-4-2

    ----------Boruc
    ----Caldwell--McManus
    Wilson-------------Naylor

    ----------Lenny

    Naka---Graveson--McGeady

    -------Miller
    -------------JVoH

Miller must start!! He'll run about * mental & cause havoc in the Milan defence, he may also (just maybe) add to his 3 goal CL tally!!

Riorden will hopefully come on with 20-30 minutes to go (& score).

I think you give Sno too much credit & have selective memory issues :86: , I want him to do well too, but he just ain't ready for Milan.

Your selective memory issue has apparently blindsided you to the fact that Evander Sno had a blinder of a game against Benfica,.. in the marvellous 3-0 win..:50:

Why can't Sno have another blinder against Milan..:celt_2:

If he plays 4-4-2 (which is in doubt) that is almost certain to be WGSs team IMO although I think he would have played Hartley and Elvis for Grav and Gary if he could have.

Absolutely agree with Keltoi and Hairytoes here..

only prob for me is half our defence will have faced very little action recently, never mind Kaka type action!

Reserve judgement on Caldwell and Wilson untill just before the game, see how they are looking, otherwise its all good.

We desperately need to pick up the pace of attack at times though, as it would be pointless passing it about in fromt of Milan. We don't have the personnel to do it (only Naka), but we do have the personnel to convert high octane crossing etc and over the tops, flick ons etc for Miller to break from deep then lay off and even (* help me) score!

That is basically WGS's first choice 11 from the first few months of the season. Its also the core that got us this far in CL.
